«Vi følte oss som spesielle og ble tatt "personlig" vare på av vertskapet som ga oss fremragende service på alle måter. Deilig å komme "hjem" til etter dagsturer rundt i Lake District. Rommet var rent og stille, selv om huset ligger ved siden av hovedveien.»

«We had a wonderful two night stay at the Linthwaite House Hotel. Very nice and attentive staff, comfortable rooms and a beautiful location. Upon our late arrival the welcoming staff prepared sandwiches and drinks for us in the lovely lounge area even though the kitchen was closed. We tried the tasting menu which was delicious. The stay exceeded our expectations and we will definitely come again!»

«Free parking and views of lake from the dining room were very good. Half board - the dinner was good but overpriced so the 10% service charge worked out extortionate. NOT GOOD We were put in a small loft room with a difficult door to open and a tight stair access- the room and whole property needs a lick of paint and could be cleaner. Location too far from bowness - walking into town is 20minutes but on both roads which had no pavement so very dangerous. Wouldn’t stay here again .»

«The hotel is lovely, quirky with lots to look at. Lovely gardens. We were there 2 days for a wedding and had a wonderful time. The staff were great especially Alan on the bar. Breakfast was good. Our room was 201 and it was quite unusual but a bit dark, not good for putting on makeup. It definitely needs a light over a mirror. The wooden cladding although adding character darkens the room. »

«It is a beautiful hotel and all the staff was fantastic!! The room was amazing! Fiona at the front desk went out of her way to welcome us. A perfect person to start our hotel stay. Very informative and welcoming! Our dinner and breakfast host Manjo (I probably have spelled his name wrong) was GREAT! My wife has a dairy intolerance and he made sure at night everything was dairy free and he remembered the next morning. All the staff who waited on us we very pleasant, smiling and friendly. You ...
