Overall very satisfactory, access to patio area and being able to ventilate the room myself are greatest among all other hotels. But the main reason for choosing this hotel was gym. great machines.

I enjoyed how easy our check in and self parking was. The room was spacious and very clean. The shopping center was a 7minute walk. Overall, I will definitely stay there again.

An amazing location: 5min walk to UTC shopping mall and MTS train which can tale us to San Diego downtown. This hotel is better than Embassy or Hyatt.

I appreciated the person at the desk who checked us in. Chelsea. I booked through Expedia and when I checked in I had to get a smaller room with one bed, instead of two. She was accommodating and humble in her dealings with us.

This probably my 4th time staying at this hotel & I'm returning in 2 weeks, I just totally love it!! It's family oriented, clean, nice, staff is always super nice and helpful. This last last visit, I arrived sooner that expected and before check in time and they were nice enough to allow us to check in since room was already ready. The only reason I gave a 4 star this time is because there is a resturant off the lobby with some tables and chairs closer to their starbucks, I sat my children down while I tossed some trash, as I turned around, the employee from the resturant was telling my 8 year old that they had to move elsewhere, that it was a resurant and they were not allowed to be sitting there(with a tone). She then saw me and said "are those your children?" I said yes, and she said the same to me, that they were not allowed to be sitting there. I get it if that's the policy, it's tricky as those tables are in the lobby/reception area, but why approach these kids like that and with a tone, my poor kids are just staring at her startled without a response. It's the first time I ever encounter something like that. Maybe she was having a bad day. Other than that, the hotel is just great and that one bad moment won't keep me from going there.

Parking was not included or told would be required. It was very expensive for a multiple night stay to not include parking. It’s unfortunate that things are getting so expensive disabled combat veterans cant afford normal things anymore in modern times.

While we appreciated the helpfulness and friendliness of the front desk staff, as well as the comfort and amenities provided in the room, our overall experience was marred by a disappointing breakfast. Despite waiting 15 minutes at the front desk for seating, and another 10 minutes without being attended to for drinks after being seated, the service fell short. We had to repeatedly request assistance from the waitress, and even after requesting warm milk for our son, it never arrived. This series of events left us with a negative impression of our stay.

I like this hotel but our hotel bed sheets were not cleaned. When I asked for room service to change the sheets we came back and not sheets were not switched. They had blood on the sheet and the blanket was brown like it hadn’t been washed properly.

The property is located in a good area; it is accessible to the beach front, shopping and the freeway. The breakfast deal is well worth it. The staff in the cafe are wonderful. The parking is expensive but the access is easy for the self-park option. The front desk staff is less than desirable. Check-in was mediocre and unfriendly. We had to follow-up in the room regarding wifi access and other information. While unloading our luggage, an unidentified man was trying to open our door - aggressively because it wasn't opening. We were terrified only to find out that it was maintenance delivering a mini-fridge but we did not receive notice from the front desk or anyone else. The elevators were of great concern because they were not operating correctly - there were many comments from other guests while riding about our safety. After one stopped, dropped and then sat motionless and then suddenly shot up, we didn't ride them again. When we advised the front desk we received the same uninterested, lackadaisical attention - that elevator remained in use even though we suggested they shut it down.
