«This was the best place for our long weekend in Bald Head! The space was perfect and had everything you could need. The owner provided a few bottles of water, coffee with cream and sugar packets, and even basic cooking spices. It is within walking distance to a few restaurants and a coffee shop if you and close to the ferry landing so we were the first drop off the tram! We will definitely be back. :)»

«The cozy cottage was perfect for our short visit to Kitty Hawk. It was clean, comfortable, well equipped, with interesting art, and it was close to the beach and dining. The crows nest is quite nice. There was a bit of confusion regarding whether linens were provided - they only are for a fee and in advance. Luckily we brought some. «The property was quaint and the perfect size for myself, my husband, our daughter, and a small dog. There were a few things left behind from the previous renter, which is why I could not give 5 stars for cleanliness. The porch was my favorite part of the house. Morning coffee while staring at the ocean was great. The area in front of the house is a great spot for shelling. I found 4 sea biscuits on one of my morning walks. We had a wonderful time and would rent again if given the opportunity.»

«Carova Beach is magical - as if time stood still. In my opinion, this is one of the loveliest houses out there. It is SPOTLESSLY clean, it has everything you need and the old world style of the home is the icing on the cake. Couldn’t be any more relaxing. The beach is BEAUTIFUL and a two minute walk from the house. Be prepared! There is NOTHING in Carova Beach. The house was spacious and accommodated our group of 13; however, the house is in need of updating. The dryer went out during our stay but was repaired but all appliances need to be upgraded. "Jeg har bodd på mange hoteller rundt om i verden, men tror aldri jeg har betalt så mye for så lite. La oss ta det positive først: enkel og grei parkering. Grei size på rommene, enkelt å finne og nydelig plassering rett ved stranden. Lokasjon er jo alt sies det, vell i dette tilfellet er det kun lokasjon. Hele hotellet er slitt og hadde nok sine glansdager for et par-tre presidenter siden. Kjøkkenet var direkte skittent og å lage mat der var ikke et alternativ. Badet var skittent og dusjen måtte spyles for hår før ungene kunne dusje. Veggene hadde fuktskader, maling holdt på å flasse av. Lukten minner om bestemor som bodde alene på 90 tallet. Å betale tusenvis for dette føles som et rent bedrageri. Heldigvis hadde vi bare booket en natt."
