Nice grounds but poor service level!
Well I don’t know if they are leaning on the good reviews, but the level of service here is shockingly bad! I was here for 2 weeks and it was basicly more staff then guests in the restaurants and pool area. I had to be a hawk to get any attension from the staff. 6-8 people was working at not once did they come up to my sunlounge to ask if I wanted anything! Half the time I had to get up and walk up to them to get attention. If I ordered a drink it took 15 minutes to get a beer even if it was no other guests. If I finished my drink the took the glass and ran away so I had to follow them to get another. I got plastic in my gin/tonic, my starter and main course served at the same time, and several times my meals contained ingrediences I told not to add! The staff seemed scared of me. I think the english is very scary for them so they avoid me. Either way it was uncomfortable to run around to track them down all the time. The food was ok. No healthy food and the salads was only a starter so you need to order 4 salads to make it a dinner. The hotel is nice but they really need to take care of their guests, not just smile when you come and go.

Great value, wonderful hotel
Wonderful hotel! So friendly and professional staff, many of them fluent in English. Clean rooms, great service, nice pool, great restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Fast WiFi. However, rather bad view.

Property was Good staff was excellent great people great service. Apart from one incident when I have booked my tour through hotel and asked them to pack my box for breakfast but driver was late and other people having breakfast so I thought I can have some juice and bread but one staff came and asked me not to eat because they have packed my 😊 Rice box. I believe there is way to approach your customer’ I returned my lunch box. Very embarrassing moment. Otherwise, great staff, very helpful

2人1部屋朝食付きで約5000円で泊まりました。 プールも綺麗で、朝食も美味しく満足なクオリティーです。タクシーもチャーターしてくれるので大変助かります。 ホテル周辺の治安があまりよくはない(バイクの飛び出しが危険、歩行者がいるのは基本無視)ので、注意は必要です。

I stayed there for a week and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The room was quiet and clean, the staff where always helpful and friendly and on my rest days when I wasn't site seeing, I made good use of the pool and hotel restaurant which to my surprise was very reasonably priced compared to so many tourist traps. It's a 20 minute walk to the beach which is difficult to do in the heat but only a 5 minute grab ride away. It's location was hidden off the main busy streets so you don't hear hardly any noise. It's a 7 minute walk away from a huge shopping mall which is tricky to get to by foot as you have to cross a busy motorway through a series of sketchy zebra crossings and there is conveniently a Circle K just outside the hotel.

We spent 2 nights here between flights in Bali. Close to the galleria to buy last minute things, close to the airport. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was fantastic. We would stay here again.

This is the third time ive stayed at the Kana Kuta. This time i brang my parents with me and they were blown away by the exceptional service. The staff go above and beyond for you, they always left a nice note after they cleaned our rooms and always greeted us with a huge warm smile. I love the Kana and will only ever come back to this wonderful hotel!

This is such a lovely hotel, I stay here every time I visit Bali. All the staff are friendly, polite and professional, which makes each stay a pleasure. The hotel is set away from the main road so there is no traffic noise at all. It is well kept inside and out, with the staff taking great care to keep the environment clean and tidy.

The Jana has great staff and reasonable rooms at a reasonable price. Have stayed there twice now and will stay again , it’s a 5 $ cab fare to waterbom park.

Wonderful stay at The Kana. Staff were exceptional and always so friendly willing to help. Breakfast buffet was delicious with great options. Hotel is in a convenient location close to the airport, shopping mall and restaurants. Rooms can use a little updating but overall great stay.

Was just outside of the main markets and chaos and then only a 2.00au grab ride away. Can walk around with out being pestered by people trying to sell you something.

We enjoyed our stay at the Kana. Property was clean, safe and quite. Only drawback is the restaurant was not airconditioned. So a little bit warm during summer.

It was amazing to stay at the hotel. The rooms are not that modern but the service is just exquisite. Staff always carrying a smile on their face. Rooms are kept clean and the breakfast buffet is the best we ever had!!!

Very friendly staff. Keen to help and advise. Gym equipment was old and didn’t work well. WiFi sometimes cut out intermittently. Would have liked to see an iron in the room and also a wall mounted clock or time on the default TV screen.

Terrible hotel! Beware of fake reviews!!
This was genuinely one of my worst stays. I trusted the reviews and the 9.2 rating and boy was I wrong to do that. Location - this hotel is NOT in the prime part of Kuta. It’s secluded and there is nothing happening within walking distance. There is a sad dominoes and kfc about 10 min walk away. All other fun stuff in Kuta (including Kartika plaza) requires a taxi ride. Air con - we complained about this and after leaving it on for the whole night, it still count cool down the room. Condition - the hotel rooms are in terrible shape and a lot of wear and tear. Bathroom - gross, way too small, no door so whole bathroom gets wet every time someone showers, terrible ventilation and super smelly. Tv - super small and not a smart tv Hotel amenities - terrible stench of stale coffee in the lift. Didn’t go away for the 3 days we were there. No cleaning of the lift done throughout our stay. Pillows - stench of stale sweat. Cldnt sleep on it due to the smell. In conclusion, there is NOTHING EXCEPTIONAL about this hotel. If you don’t trust me, take a look at the pics I have uploaded and decide for yourself if you want to subject yourself to a stay in this place. For the price paid, in my opinion, there are far far better hotels to book.

Very quiet, has a restaurant inside the hotel. 10 minutes walk to the shopping place and 15 minutes to the beach. Domino’s pizza and KFC is just one block away. Easy access to motor bikes.
