Nydelig og rolig resort
Jeg var sammen med mine to døtre på 15 år på Fair House i 10 netter. Nydelig rolig sted med veldig hyggelig ansatte. Om man ønsker litt mer liv og spise på andre restauranter er det kun en kort taxi tur til Fishermans market er mye liv. Anbefales!

Pent og greit hotell.
Hotell med beliggenhet litt utenfor allfarvei selv om Fishermans village er bare 6 min unna med tuktuk. Man måtte gå en ganske lang bit for å komme opp på hovedveien for å finne transport. Det var ikke helt enkelt det heller, stort sett bare taxier. Vi leide oss scooter hele uka vi var der og det gjorde det mye enklere. Fishermans village et steinkast unna er jo noe for seg selv, da helst på fredager da det er nattmarked og byen er stengt for trafikk. Stranden er grei, men ikke noe mer. Restauranten på hotellet har en fantastisk beliggenhet men dessverre ikke noe særlig bra mat. Flott og rent poolområde. Lite håndtering under happyhour. Svært mye mygg, gikk ikke an å sitte ved den private poolen når det var skygge. Hadde store planer på ettermiddagene på å sitte ute, men glem det! Da må man høyere opp i terrenget. Lite engelsk blant de ansatte. Ser at enkelte kommenterer at hotellet har den beste måten ever, det er diskuterbart...

Although we are pleased that you enjoyed the general facilities and the upkeep of the resort, nevertheless we are equally disappointed that we let you down in the area of food quality from our restaurant and the mosquitoes. Vi hadde bestilt 4 netter på dette hotellet, vi dro etter første natten. Følte det var verdt det tapet. Langt fra alt, dårlig mat, dårlig service. Rommet og hotellet var slitent, de ansatte bar preg av at de følte det samme.

Ok hotell. Passer best for turister som ønsker og vara i rolig omgivelse og på hotelområde. Turister som ønsker og oppleve mere bør se seg etter ett annet hotel pga hotellet ligger veldigt avsides og tungvint til mtp både taxi, bathbuss ev annen kommunikasjon.

Ligger nydelig til på en rolig strand.
Frodig hage og veldig hyggelig personale.Vakker utsikt fra vår bungalow. Noe slitt, men absolutt å anbefale. Serviceinnstilt personale sørget for transport når vi ville andre steder. Fint bassengområde og fine bademuligheter ca 100 m fra hotellet.

Bra service og frokost.
Greit hotell til en ok pris. VI hadde Deluxe balkong rom, men på dette hotellet betyr det nederste rommet, Det var en del mugglukt, og manglet skuffer til å ha klær i så det ble en uke i koffert. Bortsett fra det var servicen og svømmebassenget bra. Kommer nok til å velg det igjen dersom veien skulle føre oss til Koh Samui, men da ville vi valgt en bungalow eller et rom høyer opp.

Flott opplevelse
Vi bodde her i 10 dager og stortrivdes. Rommet luktet litt "kjeller" som vist nok var grunnet treverket, men ellers var det topp. Egners seg veldig godt for avslapping. Bra restaurant med livemusikk. Egner seg dårlig for fest og seine netter. Ligger flott til med privat Strand og topp service. Vi leide scooter og var da enkelt å komme seg rundt.

Nice and quiet
Quite happy with our stay at this "hotel". Our apartment was really nice, a private terrace with our own jacuzzi and a sunset view, giving it a nice luxurious touch. It was a quite place, very good for relaxation on your porch or by the pool, but you'd have to travel a bit to get to any of the town where things are happening. The internal surroundings of the hotel were also very nice, but once you moved outside the perimeter of the hotel you're in a bit of a deserted and shabby place. The breakfast buffet had a nice selection, but all the "hot" food (scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, beans, fried rice etc.) was mostly cold or lukewarm, which was a quite a minus. Also the hotels restaurant weren't anything special: ok food and ok service, but nothing more than that. We only ate there a few times though, preferred to eat lunch and dinner outside the hotel. The final thing I felt was a bit of a minus, was that for a hotel of this size and quality, I would actually have expected the staff, at least in the reception, to speak English a bit better than they did. Basic communication was not a problem, but once we started to ask a bit more detailed questions about places to go, things to do, how to make various arrangements etc., we often felt the communication was a bit hard. All in all a good experience that I don't have any problem recommending to others, even though it was missing "the little extra" to get five stars.

Utrolig flott hotellkompleks. Beliggenhet på rolig strand passer perfekt for par og familier som vil ha det litt rolig rundt seg på tur. Også kort avstand til "bylivet".

Nydelig sted
Jeg følte at jeg var kommet til himmelen! Vennlig mottagelse, herlig rom og fantastisk utsikt. Ganske flott strand og et herlig bassengområde. God mat i restauranten, men stive priser. Det kan imidlertid nbefales å gå litt opp i hovedgata og finne god mat til rimeligere penge der. Anbefaler et sted med australsk eier - husker ikke navn, men nydelig mat der og flott service!

Bodde her i 3 dager, stille rolig plass. Et stykke fra shopping, resturanter og uteliv. Dyre priser på hotellet. Rommene noe slitt, luktet litt mugg. Men generelt fin størrelse på rommene. Helt ok for noen netter.

Just fair....
We ordered the Pool villa from march 26 to April 1st. Upon arrival, the first impression was good, reception area was nice and the staff great. We were taken to our room with a golf cart, which is nice. First impression of the room was good, nice bed spacious bathroom and garden with sala and pool as advertised. So far so good. We took a trip out to Fishermans village and when we came back, we hoped to take a dip in our private pool. Problem was that it was pitch dark in the garden and the pool. Called the reception, they would send someone. Nothing happened. Next day called again, they sent someone to fix the light outside, pool still not working.Wanted to take a dip again letter that day, found the water dirty and called again. On top of that the ac did not cool properly so we had to buy a fan...A lot of back and forth, involving manager, and we got upgraded to a beachfront villa with pool. Well.... Same deal here, bad AC, they changed something one day, as I stopped working during the night , pool was dirty. The jacuzzi pump Shut down after 30 min.. The complimentary wifi was not working all week - the manager knew about this he said.. Anyway, this hotel has a nice location, a great staff, not so nice beach and is in need of a good cleaning and a lick of paint! Towels at the pool are worn, sun umbrellas are worn out, the main pool need a good cleaning, the plates and glasses at the restaurant needs to be cleaned better. - A Fair place, nothing more.

This is not an Expedia VIP Access hotel. All benefits on Expedia are for ALL hotel guest. Also you will not get any upgrade. Even now in low season, while the hotel is really not crowded "there are no upgrade accomations available". Interesting. The doors of many rooms are broken. The card system to get a new card is broken every day. Every time they promised us to provide us with a card "within 15 min". After calling 3 times and waiting for hours of which more than 1 in the dark (bevause you need the card for electricity, AC etc.) we finally got one again. This happened 2 times, total waste of holiday time. The breakfast is just "ok". The bread is dry and patisserie like croissants are quite fat. So eating something different than rice or omelet is quite difficult. The staff is friendly, but not of any help. Smiling and being friendly doesn't solve problems. Internally they communicate so bad, that every time you have to explain issues again. Believing that things will turn out fine, will disappoint you. Keep on reminding them to do the things they promised you. For example: bring new towels and that house keeping forgot, bring the suitcases to the room. If you ask them, they say "yes we will do", but we found our luggage standing in the lobby for hours. No one did do anything. They smile and say sorry, but that doesn't help. Someone could just have taken it in the meantime. We were lucky that nothing bad happened.

If you want a nice quiet place to be then this would be the place for you. There’s nothing around this place. It’s about 20 minutes to the night market and the popular tourist area. This villa is isolated from many major tourist attractions.

The property is so very tired. Our room had an amazing view but the walls were peeling, the room door didn't shut properly, the wardrobe doors were slightly out of alignment so it didn't close all the way, the bathroom door knob was loose, and the wall was smudged with paint bubbles and peeling. However, the bed was comfortable and the housekeeping staff maintained the room well. The bathroom was clean although the water stopped briefly during a shower and there were no conditioner or body lotion. Be sure to bring your own. Breakfast selection was decent. The spa was very good though - pandanus Spa.

Das Personal war freundlich .Die Zimmer in die Jahre gekommen.Das Hotel ist neben einer Schule ,daher zeitweise sehr laut. Frühstück war nicht abwechslungsreich.In 14 Tagen keine Veränderung Alles in allem stimmt aber das Preis Leistungsverhältnis

Lovely resort with great amenities and accommodation. Massive king size bed, beautiful bathroom. Loved outside chalet type rooms surrounded by trees and plants. Restaurant overlooking the sea and sandy beach. Downside was having to wait quite a long time after 2pm check in when we'd arrived early at 11 and told they would try and get us early check in. Disappointed also to find out that the 6am breakfast advertised was now 7am and the 6am packed breakfast promised didnt artive before we left for the surport. Also we had to pay to get the hotel shuttle bus to the airport at a cost of 600 bhart and no hotel discount or free shuttle. Plus was that a staff member was waiting outside our room dot on 6.30 am to take us and our luggage in a golf buggy. Overall lovely resort and friendly staff.

Vue mer incroyable. Mise à disposition de kayak et de paddle. Cependant, si vous n’êtes pas véhiculé, l’accès à l’hôtel n’est pas pratique et aucune navette est mise à disposition pour accéder à une zone avec restaurants… contrairement à d’autres hôtels sur Koh Samui. Cela aurait pu être pratique pour accéder par exemple au Fisherman village. L’accueil et l’accès aux informations à été très moyen.

Perfect mid range hotel
We had an incredible 5 night stay. The style of the hotel and views are amazing. The food is great and all staff are very attentive. Would highly recommend. There’s a beach which is easily walkable and the area is nice and quiet.

Our stay of four nights was like being in a garden paradise at the beach. The pools were beautiful warm and even had platforms to rest on with whirlpool jets. The Breeze restaurant had amazing food with custom modifications made for my gluten and other food intolerances. The staff were great!

Gorgeous luxury resort!
My family and I loved our stay at the Fair House. The resort is tucked away from the main tourist areas. We stayed only two nights and wished we could have stayed longer. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the food at the restaurant is delicious and authentic, and the pool area is spacious and well maintained. The rooms themselves are well decorated and clean. We loved everything about the resort and plan to return the next time we visit Thailand.
