Great hotel with top notch staff
We stayed at Chaweng Garden Beach Resort for our first trip to Koh Samui. The location is perfect and you have everything you could ever wish for right at your doorstep. This includes restaurants, bars, beach, pool with poolbar, taxi service, convenience store, the list is endless. We booked the Superior Room with pool view as this was said to be the most quiet option in relation to the neigbouring night club "ARK bar". The room was indeed quiet, but unfortunately the room was not clean at our arrival and we had a huge gap between the door and the doorframe at the main entrance. The staff however was very helpful and they upgraded ut to a private bungalow as soon at this was brought to their attention. The service at this hotel was impeccable. The staff was always super friendly and the common areas were always well maintained, tidy and clean. Overall we were very happy with our vacation here and would definetly come back!

Fantastisk sted
Veldig fornøyd med stedet, beliggenheten (kort vei til både strand og shopping (til og med kjøpesenter)). Kjempebra service fra alle ansatte og nydelig mat i restauranten på hotellet. Det eneste som ikke var bra var sengene - det var som å sove på et hardt gulv, men vi klarte oss.

Chaweng garden
Chaweng garden var bra på alle vis. Topp service, bra rom og rengjøring. Stranden var også bra. Stort pluss for hyggelig betjening.I tillegg en rolig plass som ligger sentralt .

Unngå som pesten!
Chaweng Garden Beach er et forferdelig hotell. Vi ble tildelt et rom med en intens stank av sopp og råte, av den type som forkorter livet. Rommene hadde begrenset privatliv da det var innsyn fra alle kanter. Støy fra fly i lav høyde rett over hotellet. Verre var imidlertid støyen fra høy musikk, som man var eksponert for over alt (inkludert rommet) grunnet et sinnrikt høytaleranlegg. For å redde ferien, valgte vi å sjekke ut fra hotellet etter kun én time, til tross for at vi ikke ville få refundert utgifter for fem netter, og vi tok dernest inn på et uterket hotell i Lamai.

We going to check our room and we do not find any intense stench of fungus and rot in the room. Refer to noisy from airplane and music from the bar at street, its out of our control but our staff will do the best to help you if you decide to continue stay. This hotel is more than the official 3, 5 stars!
This is an excellent choice. I am an experienced world traveler and on a visit to Koh Samui with lots of friends and family, I decided to stay the last days in Chaweng and choose this hotel. Fantastic location in the middle of the city, but very quiet, you have no feeling of the busy city. The hotel is mostly a family hotel, lots of kids. The beach is perfect for kids: a long stretch of shallow water. But the area is so large that you are in no way disturbed if you want calm. Also many adult couples. In addition some young people, but they should pay more notice to this hotel: just walk 150 meters along the beach and you are in the epicenter of young nightlife, the beach bar/hotel and disco Ark. To stay at Ark may be wise to avoid if you want to sleep. They music was very load from 2 pm until late at night The breakfast at the beach restaurant is very good and there is service all day including lunch and dinner. The most remarkable part of the hotel is the extremely friendly attitude of the staff that smile and help you in every way. I cannot compliment them enough I have only been in my own standard room which was in a 2 floor building quite near the beach. It was clean and with the necessary equipment for a comfortable stay except that I missed a good chair in the room. However, on the balcony was 2 good chairs and they were mostly used. The bed was very good. Daily room cleaning with new towels plus extra towels for the beach.

Chaweng garden passer godt til en avslappende ferie med sin unike beliggenhet mellom stranden og hovedgaten. Frokostrestauranten gir utsikt over stranden og havet og betjeningen er veldig hyggelig.

Best place inn Chaweng
a beautiful jungle garden between busy shopping streets and a beautiful beach for ultimate relaxation. The staff did everything for us to have a lovely stay and made us feel at home, fantastic place more a four star hotel than tree as advertised. We would highly recommend the place.

The Hotel was ok, but it is in the middle of the city centre, and right beside the ARK nightclub. this is a club that starts to play music at 2pm. You cant hear anything in the hotel, but it makes the beach experience bad. There is no slience. And we thought the beach were better looking, and much more quiet on each of this hotels sides. But ok hotell. the room could have been fresher - but by all means - it was good :)

Veldig renslig, god frokost med deilig egg og masse utvalg. Rolig hotell med fin strand, men ikke langt fra fest og fyll hvis man ønsker det :-) utrolig god mat på restauranten de har om kvelden! Personalet er dessverre ekstrem dårlig i engelsk.. Litt vanskelig men går greit! treningsenter bare 2 min fra hotellet som koster usle 120 bath type 25 norske kr. Trivdes veldig godt her!

Meget bra opphold. De som jobber der er meget hyggelige og yter veldig god service. Frokostservering er meget bra. Regner med å bo der neste gang jeg skal til Samui. Hotellet er ikke blandt de billigste, men det er ikke overpriset etter min smak. Meget sentralt .

Meget bra hotell, med perfekt beliggenhet. Brukte ikke 1 Bath på taxi. Har bodd bedre og rimeligere på andre steder i Thailand, men Samui er generelt ett dyrt sted. Her har du at du trenger inkludert i prisen. Vi bodde i Grand Bungalow nr 3. Ett tips er å ikke bo i Grand nr 5. Der er det fult innsyn, og ikke mye privatliv. Husk at ARK, som er Chawengs partysted nr 1, ligger 100 meter unna. Der er det høy musikk fra 14 - 02 hver dag. Hørte bassen i puta, men løste det med ørepropper.

Greit strandhotell midt på Chaweng
Ved ankomst var det litt tull med bookingen, men etter noen minutter gikk det greit. Hotellanlegget har mye palmer og skog på anlegget. Dette skygger en del inn på rommene. Fikk først utdelt et rom i mye ''skog'', men fikk byttet til et som var mer åpent og lysere. Hotellanlegget har ikke asfalt eller steinheller, kun sand i ''gatene'' og til rommene. Dette medfører litt unødig mye sand på rommene. Rommene hadde ellers grei standard, de vasket og ryddet rommene hver dag, og vi hadde ikke noe å klage på. Frokostrestaurant ned mot stranden, godt utvalg i buffet frokost, både kaldt og varmt, særlig populært med både varm internasjonale retter og egen thaibuffet. Stort sett god service i restauranten. Veldig spesielt og koselig med middag på stranden om kvelden. Hotellrestauranten kan virke litt dyr, men ikke noe over gjennomsnittet. Godt med solstoler, både ved bassenget og på stranden. To massasje steder på hotellet, med fantastisk god service. En del støy fra en naboliggende barhotell, musikk stort sett hele natten, men ingen problem når du blir vant. Hotellet ligger også midt i inn og utflyvning til flyplassen, litt uvant flystøy, men etter noen dager reagerer man ikke mere. Ingen flyaktivitet mellom 22 og 07. Alt i alt et helt greit hotell, men litt nedtur med all skogen og sand på gangveiene. Kan gjerne tenke meg og bo der igjen, vil si at hotellet er et 3+, men har også lyst å prøve ett av de mange 4+ hotellene som ligger vegg i vegg.

Nice hotel,friendly staff and good value for money
We stayed in a standard room for 13 nights. The rooms are nice and big, with a big bathroom and shower. The veranda is nice with 2 chairs and a table and a place to dry your clothes. The standard room had everything we needed. Central location and right on the beach. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast with a lot of different food. The restaurant area is very nice. Beautiful garden with a lot of flowers and trees, and nice pathways of sand down to the beach. Friendly and helpful staff everywhere. The music at night from the barstreet or the Ark bar is not a big problem. Neither is the noise from the flights. We had a wonderful time here at the Chaweng Garden and we would definitely stay here again!!!

Veldig god valuta for pengene!
Fint hotell, fine rom og uteområder. Svært hyggelig og servicevennlig personale. Perfekt beliggenhet i nærheten av alt Chaweng Beach har å by på, men uten at det er for mye bråk på nattestid. Eneste negative var at airconditionen hadde litt lite "futt" og at internett på rommene fungerte dårlig.

Nedslitt hotell med stort behov for oppgradering.
Vi bodde 3 uker i juli 2013 på Chaweng Garden Beach Resort på rom B5 som var preget av slitasje, gamle møbler, ødelagt el-anlegg og delvis defekt sanitær utstyr. Veldig dårlig med garderobeplass. Som alltid i Thailand, meget hyggelig betjening som gjorde mer enn sitt beste for oss. Topp frokost hvor det aldri ble tomt for noe og de var fleksible med tiden selv om en kom lovlig sent. Mange unge festglade gjester som holdt det gående 24 timer i døgnet. Vårt rom hadde søppelhenting og parkering rett utenfor inngangsdøren og her startet bråket 05:00 hver morgen. Bra strand med god mat og topp service på strandrestauranten. Også her meget høy slitasje på solsenger, puter etc.

Hotell midt i blinken for oss, sentralt til shopping, restaurantar, og ligg på stranda. Dagleg reingjering av romma, fantastiske frukostar inkludert, også strandhanddukar var inkludert :) Personale med høg grad av service, alltid blide. Reint og stellt alle plassar. Tilbod om Thai massasje ved stranda, må berre prøvast... fantastisk. Litt harde sengar etter det vi er vande med, og hotellet låg i ei av innflygingsrutene til flyplassen, men vi anbefalar absolutt hotellet. Skal vi til Koh Samui igjen vert det nok på samme hotell :)

Hotellet ligger 1 minutt fra den fineste stranden i Chaweng og med handlegater og supermarked 1 min den andre veien. Restauranten på hotellet har utrolig god mat.

Loved staying at this hotel everything was in walking distance and the staff were very friendly. The only thing I would say is that it gets quite noisy at night. A few nights about 1am noticed other hotel guests were partying down by the pool area which is in the middle of all the guest rooms they were very loud and quite rude. I think the hotel should monitor this more better so that it doesn’t happen and discomfort other people staying in the resort.

We had an enjoyable time the facilities, rooms and staff all great and right on the beach! Only down side is the Ark Bar beach club next door playing music till 2am. The hotel do tell you in an email once you’ve booked though. Would stay again but stay away from the Shino rooms.

Too loud, we left 1 night earlier, because we couldn't sleep. The bed was extremely hard and Chaweng is awful. Unfortunalety we don't get a refund about the last night. The personal said they know that there is very loud. And the room had NO daylight!!! Horrible to use the light every time you go into the room.. and too much mosquitos!! Staff was friendly.

To make your stay comfortable both while sleeping and doing other activities in the room if you feel that the room is too dark, you could always contact our staff who are ready to help and solve such problems for you as soon as possible. As for your comment, we will fix what we can as soon as possibleWe use Pest Control company for an eco-friendly misting system and it takes a short time to disintegrate. Personnel au top toujours disponible, chambre plus que propre, hotel dans son ensemble excellent. Je recommande fortement. Seul petit point qui pourrait être négatif la proximité avec le ark bar donc musique assez forte jusque 2h du matin. Donc si voulez du calme precisez le au moment de la réservation. Aussi on est au centre de chawneg le top.
