Overall disappointing for the price
A few things that weren’t made clear when we booked: - the on site gym is owned by a separate company and requires an additional payment of EUR10 per visit. The equipment is weights-focused, with only 2 treadmills. - the ‘spa’ is a large family swimming pool area with tepid jacuzzis and lots of screaming children. This wasn’t a relaxing experience and should be avoided. - our premium double suite contained two single beds pushed together, which was uncomfortable - staff were often dismissive when we asked about things, especially when something not directly run by the hotel - shower was terrible and flooded the adjacent sauna in under 2 minutes - breakfast food was disappointing, even the ‘premium’ options. The stay did the job completely - but you could stay locally for a lot cheaper for a similar experience. Nothing about this hotel felt particularly luxurious.

Good morning, First of all, we want to thank you for your visit and also for taking the time to write your review. If I may, I would like to answer to some of the comments. In order to get a better understanding of our resort it is good to know that it consists of two hotels; Design Hotel Levi and Levi Hotel Spa, and in our resort area there are multiple services, some of which are operated by us and some are operated by separate entrepreneurs.The gym, you are correct about the part that it is not free. We have a properly sized wellness center, in which world-class athletes train every year, it is spacious with multiple different training equipment along treadmills, rowing machines, a great variety of different weight lifting and muscle training gear along with a CrossFit section and it is the most popular place here in Levi, The wellness center is run by an esteemed athlete and since she is an entrepreneur in our premises, she is fully entitled to set a fee for the gym use. This is not rare in other hotels worldwide either. Naturally, we do feel bad that this has upset you as we do want to make everyone’s stay equally successful. We have our indoor water world-style spa (also along with outdoor jacuzzies, which is a, treat here in Finland, hot water, and crisp air, a combination highly recommended and good for your blood circulation. We also have a day spa for treatments in our premises, in the same building but at the opposite ends of the building, so there may have been a misunderstanding there, for which we apologize. We will try to get the information corrected with the OTA services but sometimes it’s easier said than done due to the great volume of companies they work with.Our beds in all rooms at Design Hotel Levi are actually very high quality, and also very much valued by our dear guests and very much like, but we do understand also the fact that nothing is perfect for everyone, and we do apologize for any discomfort you may have felt. Our Premium Breakfast is, indeed, our pride and joy as it is very popular among our guests due to high quality in both, service and the fresh breakfast delicacies served there. We wish you would have contacted us, the management while still on site so that we could have discussed the matter in more detail as our main focus and goal with every single guest is to provide them great service and wonderful experiences. We sincerely hope that one day we get a new chance to prove our hospitality. If you ever come back to the area, kindly contact me directly and we shall make sure that you will have a wonderful stay. Excellent Hotel
Stayed here for 4 nights with 2 young children for our visit to Levi. Upgraded our room and had a private sauna in the room, Beds were probably one of the most comfortable i have ever slept in, Hotel was stunning and perfectly located. Also had full access to the Spa and swimming pools which was also great especially for the kids. Only bad thing was listening to the loading shovels clearing the snow in car park every morning at just after 05:30!

Hotelli oli mukava, mutta ei sovi yksityisyyttä kaipaavalle. Suihku- ja vessatilan seinät ovat lasia ja oven väliin jää iso rako. Huoneen sisutus oli todella kaunis ja meillä oli loft huone omalla pienellä terassilla. Terassilla ei tosin ollut mitään kalusteita ja se oli suoraan parkkipaikalle päin, jossa oli paljon ohikulkijoita. Tämä johti siihen, että huoneen verhoja oli pidettävä kiinni suurin osa ajasta. Hotellissa oli ihanat kylpytakit ja tervetuliaislahja. Kylpylän käyttö mahdollisuus oli myös iso plussa, samoin kuin Ritualsin-tuotteet. Aamiainen oli aika perusaamiainen, joten jätti desinghotellilta aika paljon toivomisen varaa. Hotelli kaipaa ehdottomasti roskiksia ja tuhkakuppeja, joiden puute näkyi ulkotiloissa. Myös huoneista uupui muutamia perustarvikkeita, jotka saimme kyllä pyytämällä.

Perfect stay in stunning room
We had a great stay at Design Hotel Levi. Hotel was very beautifully decorated with stylish details. We will definitely come back. Book this hotel if you really care about how room looks like. Furniture of the room was top-design (from finnish designers too), bed super comfy and we loved Rituals-products in the bathroom. This was the best hotel i’ve visited in Finland so far!

Siisti hotelli mutta paljon puutteita
Siisti ja viihtyisä hotelli, mutta säästetty väärissä paikoissa. Reception/huonepalvelu auki vain alkuiltaan asti, aamupala todella keskinkertainen ja täynnä ihmisiä koska samalla aamupalalla lähialueen mökeissä majoittuvat. Huone oli todella siisti, mutta kylpyhuonetilat erittäin epäonnistuneet. Suihkun käyttö lähes mahdotonta. Suihkusta tulee vettä niin vähän että hädin tuskin kastuu ja se vähäkin vesi menee ympäri kylpyhuonetta. Shampoot ja saippuavat pidettävä lattialla koska niille ei ole tasoa. Hotellin ainoa kunnon ravintola oli kiinni ilmeisesti koronasta johtuen. Auki oli ainoastaan aamupala ravintola ja pizzeria. Hotellin ilmoituksen mukaan hotellissa on 3 baaria, mutta en löytänyt muuta kun vastaanoton kahvikoneen. Ensimmäistä kertaa ikinä 1 tunnin myöhäisemmästä uloskirjautumista olisi pitänyt maksaa. Hotellilla hyvä idea, mutta toteus jäänyt pahasti puolitiehen.

Totally overpriced, no room cleaning, no room service, tiny rooms, unfriendly staff and zero service. Rooms are poorly designed (e.g. there is no way to not flood the room when taking a shower in the tiny cabin) No place for skiing clothes... Just to name a few.
