Very nice stay.
Very nice Motel, friendly staff. Had a beautiful evening to sit outside our door and enjoy a relaxing time. Did lack some handicap amenities, most rooms were accessed with stairs, some without handrails.

The staff went o I’ve and beyond with customer care. He made the place feel like home. When my husband and I were at the fire place, the staff offered us coffee and put more wood in the fireplace. He even took more wood out for us to stay warm. I will definitely be staying here again and tell friends to choose this wonderful location.

The towels in my room were dirty, looked like blood and hair on them. Bed badly needs replacing. Sunk in the middle. And squeaks loudly. Felt like I was sleeping on a heavily used old foldout couch bed. They also tried to charge me for my service animal. Which was absurd. I had to argue with the manager and even contact the owner to have it handled. Friendly staff otherwise and mediocre breakfast. I’d probably pay more to stay somewhere else if you are staying for more than 1 sleep.

Deadbolt on door didn’t work, curtains sheer(so light entered room all night) or under sized, all lamps didn’t work, bizarre room setup(couch against door, one bed was against the wall, tiny tv). Booked a single queen and given 2 beds and was nothing like photos online.

The toilet was broke, the floors were filthy. I spilled water on the floor and when I wiped it up, it was brown with dirt. The owners were very nice and friendly. It was very affordable

Dans le cadre de notre road trip nous avons fait une halte à Keystone. Accueil très avenant du couple de manager. Le motel est en mode cabine Petit bémol pour la literie de très mauvaise qualité Le centre de la ville accessible à pied en moins de 5 mn avec tous les restaurants et boutiques C’est de loin notre meilleur rapport qualité prix depuis notre début de road trip

It’s not very clean. Bathroom smells of urine. The bed is akin to a pullout bed. Very uncomfortable and sinks. We stayed at 3 different places on our road trip back home and this one was the most expensive, but the worst.

At our arrival, we were greeted with such care, not sure if they were the owners but this couple was very attentive to our needs, gave us dinner suggestions and maps. The hotel is a older built which explains the condition rating, they just repainted the outside last summer, took the pool out and replaced with a fire pit area. It is conveniently located, just a few minute walk off the main road so a quiet location still close to everything.

This place is disgusting and they do not disinfect or clean!!! We found found another persons underwear under our bed. Towels were dirty, shower was plugged with hair, bed and dirty dog prints on it and it stunk horribly! We complained and they put us in another room which wasn’t a “pet room” and it wasn’t any better. The floor wasn’t even attached to the subfloor! The pictures and description were very deceiving and clearly not even the same motel. Disgusting!!!!!!

Clean, but needs repairs
The room was clean, but not well maintained. The vinyl flooring was warped, walls needed repat, and bad grout around tub. We had two rooms and both in similar condition. Manager super nice and accomodating to our late arrival.

Very nice staff, but i would not stay here again. The shower drained VERY slowly and stuff came up from the drain. I let the staff know but didnt say much other than thanks for letting us know. The towels were stained.

Keep driving!
Black mold in bathroom, cobwebs on ceiling, toilet so close to the wall your thigh touched unless you sat sidesaddle! Wifi didn't work in the room, bed was extremely old, lumpy, springs squeaked! Had to unplug TV to plug in the coffee pot. Very little choices for breakfast. Looked cute from the outside.

Pros: Close to Mount Rushmore Monument. Decent breakfast. Owner friendly. Cons: You need to ask if you want daily new bath towels, soap, etc. However, I asked and didn't receive. And, on our final day at the hotel the person who had to spruce up room kept complaint that he was working overtime and when finished (bed not made) he said, "I helped you and tomorrow when you go you help me." Haha. What a way to ask for a tip. No way was I going to be forced to leave a tip for someone who barely cleaned up the room or brought towels. The shower head was made for someone 5'5" or shorter. I am 6'2." The king-sized bed barely left room for maneuvering in the room. The shower curtain was rusty. The TV was of poor quality. I would definitely not recommend this place.
