My stay here was comfortable. The "Hotel" room I booked was a bit dusty and dated (it screamed classy 80's motor inn). The water pressure on the shower was not so great, the sprinklers on the lawn were doing better! The aircon was welcome relief at the end of a long day. The receptionist was super friendly and patient.

Hi Desmond Thank you for your review. I see that you gave us one out of five. and on another site said that you Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities We were very lenient with you, as you didn't mention to us until the next day when you were caught with 5+ children in the park pool, and they stayed in the cabin. It is sad that you turned it around knowing that you were doing the wrong. Next time you book anywhere make sure your honest on the intentions of your stay. Respectfully Riverview Tourist Village

Great service from the staff, Yes the facility's are a bit old but the prices reflect that. Everything was clean, the outside areas may need some work but it is in the middle of the wet season. Overall a great stay and will have no qualms about staying again

Super nice
The cabin we booked was super nice. There were clean sheets, towels, barsoap and some some shower articles too. We had to keep the room clean ourselves, which was fine. The hosts were super nice and helpful. They helped us a lot, and we're super thankful fof that. they also had recommendations for us to go for our next stop. Location was great! 2 km from Kathrine and super close to the hotsprings. I would warmly recommend this place to stay. Would definitely

We stayed at a cabin. It is OK to sleep. If you would like to spend more time at an accommodation, you may want to check others. Camping ground seems fine.

Uncomfortable sleep
Great location to hot springs, only 5 minutes walk. Mattresses on beds very worn and uncomfortable Cabins very lit up at night so hard to sleep

Thank you for your review, can you please let me know what cabin you were in so I can have the mattress replaced. The lighting surrounding the cabins is there for security purposes, we have had complaints in the past that it's too dark. It would off been nice that you came into the office and spoke to management.

The staff are friendly. The grounds look a little unkempt. Perhaps it is also a bit outdated. It should be kept cleaner in front of the motel rooms.

Hi Evelyn, Thank you for your review. Although we continue to battle the leaf problem, it's a shame that your visit was right at the time that the grand mahogany trees drop their leaves. I'm unsure that your comment is necessary in regard to unkempt grounds as our groundman/Yardies work very hard, through the dry season. I hope you enjoy the rest of your trip.

Unfortunately we booked our stay on the night following a large Indigenous funeral and the eve of two indigenous football teams competing for the local grand final. Unfortunately we had several groups around us theat did not respect the house request not to make a lot of noise throughout the night. Just bad luck I guess.

Had a good night stay in Katherine whilst travelling through. Our cabin was comfortable and clean. The easy walk to the hot springs was a bonus.

Stayed at this accommodation twice - once on our way to Darwin and then on our way back down. Cabins are a bit old but are clean and the beds are comfy - nice outside setting to enjoy a drink after touring all day. Close to the Hot Springs - access through a gate at the back of the park. Lovely staff. No security issues.

I pulled in from driving hot and exhausted earlier than 2pm check in. i asked if I could park the car in the shade somewhere on the property while i waited. I was pointed to the nature strip across the road. Next they could not check me in because their internet was too slow. told to come back. I drove behind the park found a tree and had some lunch while i waited.
