10/10 for avslapping.
Av fem hoteller i Phuket jeg bodde på, var dette desidert best! Alle som jobbet på hotellet hadde humor og var veldig positive. Gjorde mine siste dager i Thailand perfekt. Hotellet ligger i et rolig strøk, gode shopping muligheter på dagtid, skal du se nattelivet i Phuket tar det deg 10 min i bolt bil. Anbefaler å dra innom den indiske teppe, smykke, tradisjonelle Buddha healing bolle butikken rett over gaten, her finner du skatter. Husk å ta av deg skone! Ellers er du ikke velkommen! (-;

Stunning boutique hotel that does everything right
The Boathouse is located at the end of Kata Beach, and is one of the few hotels with private beachfront in Kata, with both restaurant and pool areas immediately on the beach. Kata Beach is beautiful, and less busy than Patong and Karon, highly recommended for families and for a bit less buster than some other locations, while maintaining a great selection of restaurants and other activities. There are some seafood restaurants 50 metres of walking on the beach that offer excellent dining options, as well as a Ska bar for some relaxed drinks or more. The property is excellently maintained, with rooms and facilities in great condition. The design is beautiful, and it is a proper smallish to medium boutique hotel. The pool areas are very nice with ample sunbeds and great service from the pool staff. The rooms are nice, spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and pillows, clever storage solutions and quiet air condition. The breakfast is a la carte with broad selection of western and thai options, and the food is high quality. The restaurant is also great for both lunch and dinner, with a nice sea breeze and view of the beach, and excellent food. The staff is friendly, helpful and service minded, and we felt well taken care of at all times. They really walk the extra mile. We have stayed in many hotels around the world, and several different locations in Thailand, and The Boathouse is a gem, highly recommended and great value. We will be back! (We stayed 12 nights)

This was our first time back in Thailand since Covid and our first stay at The Boathouse in Kata beach. It did not disappoint! We had seen the hotel before having walked past it on previous trips to Phuket and had always thought it looks it really nice. It is a fantastic hotel. I would highly recommend it. The staff are amazing, they are extremely helpful and friendly. They will go out of their way to make sure that you have a great time at the hotel. I was a little apprehensive about the breakfast being a la carte rather than a buffet, but the food they have on offer is amazing and is cooked very quickly and you can order as much or as little as you want with no qualms from the staff. We stayed in a Seaview Terrace room, we had a terrace outside with a couple of sunbeds and a private outside with some chairs to sit out on. The room was very comfortable with a great private bathroom. We had dinner once at the hotel and while it is a bit expensive in comparison to outside local restaurants, the food is amazing and service fantastic. I would recommend booking in advance if you want to eat there. The pool is a little small but big enough to have a dip when you get hot and also the sea is right outside the hotel. We went the week before Christmas last year and it wasn't too busy at the hotel and there were adequate sun beds. It is easy walking distance to shops and restaurants, but is like an oasis in a busy town. We liked it so much we have booked to go again this year!

This hotel is amazing. It is a beach front property so it has beautiful views and easy access to the beach, a great infinity pool, and is conveniently located near lots of shops and restaurants. The place is very clean and the staff is very helpful and very kind.

Mycket trevligt!
Mycket trevligt hotell direkt på stranden. Fräscha rum och allmänna utrymmen. Poolområdet ganska litet men lugnt och välskött. Utmärkt restaurang med utsikt mot havet, ett mycket bättre alternativ än andra restauranger längs gatan utanför som är bullrig med ganska intensiv genomfartstrafik. Frukosten är mycket bra, välj fritt från menu istället för en trist standard buffe

We had a fabulous holiday in phuket at the boathouse, staffs were friendly and helpful, knowing that we had to leave earlier to catch the flight, they had arranged for early breakfast for us and the airport car was already there waiting for us. Thank you boathouse staffs and the room was cleaned, everything was perfect, no complaints, we will be back again definitely 😀

Beautiful ocean views and we really enjoyed the private beach. Facility is very cleaned, super nice and helpful staff. The room is good size but very clean and towels are changed every day. Breakfast food is not buffet and just standard. We had dinner the last night and the Thai dishes were disappointing. Pad Thai was mushy, no flavors, the grilled chicken was bland, cream puff & chocolate ice cream were bad, too.

The Boathouse Hotel on Kata Beach, is a wonderful place to unwind. The location is ideal, with the beach just a stone’s throw away. The bedroom was not only spacious but also impeccably clean and remarkably quiet, ensuring a peaceful night’s rest. The daily room cleaning service was a welcome touch, ensuring our comfort was a top priority. However, while the physical aspects of the hotel were impressive, it did feel like it lacked a certain charm or “soul.” The management could elevate the guest experience by paying attention to the finer details that can truly make a difference in a hotel stay. It’s often the small touches that set exceptional hotels apart from the rest. These nuances are vital for creating a memorable experience for guests. What truly stood out during my stay was the incredible staff. They were not only friendly but genuinely caring and devoted to ensuring my stay was nothing short of perfect. Their attentiveness and willingness to go the extra mile were remarkable and left a lasting impression.

The Boathouse war für uns bei einem 10-Tage Aufenthalt in einiger Hinsicht eine Enttäuschung. Für das was geboten wird ist das Hotel deutlich zu teuer. Die sehr positiven Kritiken in Hinblick auf das Speisenangebot konnten wir leider überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen. Das Frühstück war a la carte mit einer sehr begrenzten Auswahl und nichts davon war lecker - sogar der Toast wurde wie geplättet serviert und war trocken und fad. Auch Mittags und Abends waren die Speisen nicht überzeugend. Wir sind mehrfach zum Frühstück (das wir inklusive gebucht hatten) in andere Restaurants in der Nähe ausgewichen. Das Zimmer war klein und eher billig ausgestattet. Ein gummiertes Wellblech als Deko sollte wohl bei niedrigen Kosten eine maritimen Charme versprühen - tat es aber nicht. Die Badeinrichtung war auch nicht wirklich wertig - der Brausekopf war mini und nicht mal im Winkel verstellbar. Das Bett war sehr unbequem und hat mir einiges an Rückenschmerzen beschert. Ein echtes Plus ist allerdings die Lage - direkt am Strand und am ruhigen Ende des Kata-Beach. Vom Pool und dem Restaurant kann man super das Meer, die Surfer und den Sonnenuntergang beobachten. Das Gym ist klein aber ok. Ein defektes Laufband wurde zügig repariert. Insgesamt aber und im Vergleich zu vielen anderen Hotels die wir in Thailand und auch auf Phuket schon genutzt haben bleiben der völlig überzogene Preis und das schlechte Frühstück leider als dominierende Erinnerungen. Wiederholungsgefahr ist nicht gegeben

I was discriminated just because I wasn’t wearing shirt in the restaurant. They said they couldn’t serve me or I couldn’t order anything because I didn’t have a shirt on me. This is terrible is. Beach hotel and they said that.

All the staff at The Boathouse were so helpful and polite. The hotel was just what we wanted. Somewhere to relax, right on the beach but also convenient to shops, bars and plenty of restaurants. Our 2 weeks went so quickly which to me a sign of a great holiday.

Fantastic boutique hotel - right on the beach. Staff exceptional particularly the manager & reception team in our case could not have been more helpful and attentive. Loved our 4 nights here 9and we moved from another hotel). Kata was a lot busier than I expected but the hotel is a lovely little sanctuary. Breakfast overlooking the bay was amazing. We had dinner one evening which was nice but quite pricey. If we go back to Phuket we will stay at this hotel.

It is one of the few hotels right on the beach. The views are stunning. So convenient to play on the beach, then go back to your room. The restaurant is very good.

This boutique hotel was absolutely amazing! The breakfast was 10/10, the staff were all so attentive and helpful, the beds were extremely comfortable and the views of the beach from everywhere just topped off a perfect holiday. We loved have a few restaurants on the beach next door to the property and we enjoyed having the shops and restaurants along the main road at the hotel entrance. We will be back!

The hotel located on the best part of Kata beach, it was clean, well maintained, friendly staff. The bed are comfortable however the pillows were stiff. The breakfast was a la carte menu. the food choices were limited and we couldn’t get a proper cappuccino as much as we tried. We loved the fact that there was no smoking in the pool or dining area. The area outside the hotel was rundown and not much to do. However the beach was great and we could not fault the hotel. Would recommend staying here.
