Sono stata una settimana in questo hotel. La camera era bellissima, spaziosa e l’accesso diretto alla piscina è veramente il massimo che si possa desiderare. Il resort è composto da due parti. Quella più vecchia, in cui ho soggiornato io, è molto più tranquilla, rilassante, le casette sono ville singole o al massimo di due piani. La parte nuova mi è sembrata un po’ più rumorosa. Sono stata alcune volte in piscina lì e nella piscina c’era musica abbastanza alta e più gente. In quella zona ho visto anche più famiglie con bambini, c’è anche una piscina con gli scivoli. Il personale è attento e disposto ad aiutare. Nella mia prenotazione avevo un “credito per cibo e bevande” e per i primi tre giorni nessuno alla reception ha saputo aiutarmi con questo. Poi un manager ha trovato una soluzione offrendomi 1500 baht di credito da utilizzare nei ristoranti della struttura. L’hotel è a circa 10-15 minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia Kata beach.

Alt bra! 😄
Vi var på bryllupsferie og var kjempefornøyde. Bra service og vi fikk oppgradert vårt rom kostnadsfritt! Vi fikk et kjempestort og fint rom med eget basseng. Netting på rommet ift mygg var kjempenyttig. Bra og stort utvalg av mat. Eneste ulempen er at det er et stykke fra stranden, men det tar ikke mer enn 10 min å gå og det er en golfbil som kjører deg fra resepsjonen til hovedgaten.

Flott hotell med alt du trenger for å perfekt ferie. Veldig god frokost, hyggelige betjening og rent og fint. Anbefaler rom med tilgang til basseng -perfekt start på dagen med en svømmetur før frokost.

Flott hotell, veldig god service.
Veldig fint å kunne gå på verandaen og svømme inn til hoved bassenget. Vei ein del maur på rommet, men om ein var flink å kaste mat og ikkje la brusbokser stå åpne for lenge gikk det fint. Vi er veldig veldig fornøyd alt i alt. Og kjem definitivt til å dra flere ganger.

Vi dro hit på bryllupsreisen vår. Generelt veldig fornøyd med alt. Det eneste negative var til tider tregt internett, men det var ikke veldig viktig for oss. Bassenget var stort og bra. Kata er ganske rolig, og det meste stenger klokken 24. Vi dro inn til Patong på nattestid et par ganger, og der syntes vi det var litt dyrere enn i Kata. Det var heller ikke noe problem å ta en tuk-tuk inn til Patong. Vi er veldig glad for at vi valgte et hotell i Kata, og skal vi dit igjen velger vi nok samme hotell igjen.

Betalt rundt 1000 kr natten i den tro at det var et 5 stjernes hotel. Var ikke verdt pengene.. Dårlig standar på rom og felleareale. Til halve prisen kunne det vært greit nok. Dyrt i restsuranten, lite gjester spiste her. Vi kommer nok desverre ikke tilbake hit.

Et fantastisk leilighetskompleks. I deilige rolige omgivelser med frodig jungelvegitasjon. Herlig og langt badebasseng. Herlig temperatur og intet klor-ubehag. Deilig mat ved tilknyttet spiseplass ved bassenget. Umerket sørvis. Kan anbefales på det varmeste.

Nydelig og avslappende hotell med herlig betjening
Hotellet ligger nydelig til omtrent 10 minutter fra stranden og 3 minutter fra hovedgaten. Resorten er bygget rundt et fantastisk basseng og vi tilbrakte mange later dager her. Utmerket service! Anbefales!

Stort, luksuriøst rom til overkommelig pris. Hotellet har et svømmebasseng som strekker seg over hele området, og vi var så heldige å få rom i første etasje, med direkte tilgang til bassenget. Hyggelig og serviceinnstilt personale. Ca 10 minutters gange til flott badestrand.

Vi var veldig fornøyde med hotellet. Service, og beliggenhet var utrolig bra. Mat (frokost) var også veldig bra. Og det var veldig familievennlig. Eneste vi ville klagd på var dårlig nettforbindelse.

Et kjempeflott hotellkompleks med en god beliggenhet sentralt i Kata. Bodde her mot slutten av en 14 dagers ferie, og skulle gjerne sett at vi hadde kommet hit tidligere. Bodde i en villa med private pool som medførte at vi både hadde meget komfortabelt privatliv samtidig som vi kunne benytte hotellets andre fasiliteter (treningsrom, resturant, meget store svømmebasseng etc...) Høy kvalitet både på mat og service. Dersom flyet ditt går sent og hotellet er fullbooket slik at du ikke kan få en sen utsjekk så har hotellet en egen "leilighet" hvor det er mulig å oppholde seg/ta en dusj etc før flyreisen hjem (f.eks etter en dag i bassengområdet eller på stranda). Kjapp, gratis og god internettforbindelse for de som måtte ha behov for det!

Fantastisk hotell med nydelig betjening
Dette hotellet er helt fantastisk! Aldri før har jeg møtt så imøtekommen betjening, som er veldig serviceinnstilte og alltid har et smil på lur. Hotellet ligger sentralt ved Kata beach, med en kort taxitur til andre strender i Phuket. Hotellets frokost er veldig bra, og restauranten serverer veldig gode lunsjer og middager. Hotellet har nok solsenger til at du alltid får plass, men det er aldri fullt. Vi ble oppgradert første natten gratis pga overbooking, og jeg anbefaler alle å høre om dere kan oppgradere (evt se hvordan det ser ut i en prisklasse høyere). Hotellrommene er helt fantastisk! Eneste minus er at gaten utenfor har noen veldig irriterende gateselgere som aldri slutter å mase på deg og dra deg inn i butikken. Dette er ikke noe problem, men vær bevisst på det!

Perfekt for familier og par
Fint hotell med flotte omgivelser og svømmebasseng. Bygningene og rommene er ikke helt nye, men OK. Veldig god frokost. Ypperlig for romantiske par eller familier med barn. Rommet vårt var litt slitt med noen feil. Internet finnes men er ikke så rask. Faktisk årsak til at vi byttet hotell etter 14 dager. Betjeningen er veldig imøtekommende og klarer seg i engelsken. Beliggenheten er veldig sentral i Kata, og det er kort vei til det meste. Har god service for taxi, transfer og buggy som kan bringe deg rundt på hotellet og ut til hovedveien. Alt i alt ett flott hotell.

We like the property location away from the hustle and bustle of Kata Road. We also like the layout of the property. Most of the staff at the hotel are very friendly and polite. This was our 5th time staying at the Metadee, we stay in the original hotel because that’s where we have enjoyed all our previous stays. It was very sad to see the deteriorated state of the original hotel. The condition of our room overall was very tired, some examples are: Several patches in the ceiling not painted. Handles falling of bathroom taps when being used. Aircon dripping onto the bamboo lounge positioned beneath it consequently creating a large black (mouldy) stain on the lounge. Power point in the bathroom did not work. Pool - Most of the internal pool lights do not work and have been removed but the wiring from the original lights is still there and protruding from the wall of the pool. The water quality of the pool is questionable, lots of ‘matter’ floating around in the water. The inbuilt pool water filtration system appears to be not working, external mobile units have been placed around the extremities of the pool which are really unsightly and raise questions as to the water quality. The foot bridge over the pool is supported by a metal structure, when you wade or swim under the structure we could see that the structure is very rusty to the point where pieces of rusted metal is falling into the water. These are some examples, disappointing !

We have stayed here now 7 times, we like the original rooms and original location, but this area is now in need of a thorough refurbishment. Looks like they are just patching this area up. The staff here are wonderful and is the main reason we come back.

We loved this hotel and had a wonderful time here. We started off in one of the modrrn pool access rooms but it was a little noisy as we had the children's play pool behind is. We asked if there was a room furrher awau and we were veru lucky to be mobed to the older side into one of the villas with a private pool. The large pool on the Jimaphan side was beaitifil ans qiiet. Tje spa was fabulous and we enjoues massagges and a daxial. Super relaxing.. breaakdaat waa wonseedul ans eaxh dau there was somerhing diffeeent on offee. Eggs any way youpleaaeHimapjamrooms

I don’t know what these other reviews are talking about. But I do not recommend this hotel. Full YouTube video will be uploaded may 1st @beersandbeaches. Great pool and great gym. Other than that. The breakfast is terrible and the hotel is all the way in the back makes it difficult to get to the main road. It’s just a hassle. They do offer a golf cart that takes you to the road but you end up eating 10-20 minutes each way. They need so attention here. This was such a hassle especially in April during the hottest season. Also the TV doesn’t have channels. What’s the point of a big tv if no channels. Also the room in Expedia looked amazing. In real life it was like WISH or TEMU. Plus so many mosquitos. Be careful with this one. I recommend OZO near by.

Excellent facility for swimming and fun! We had a swim up room and that was a hit! The only downside was the food. Breakfast was just okay, lots of options, but didn’t taste great. Orderable food was expensive compared to the street and not as tasty.

Amazing resort, felt very high end and comfortable. All included amenities. Breakfast buffet was very nice, poool was gorgeous. Staffs english level was very below average but we got there most of the time in terms of communication. Room service unfortunately was not 24/7 but the streets never sleep so it was a great opportunity to go out more and stay out longer. Overall best hotel I have ever stayed out, I booked well in advance and it was very affordable, highly recommend you book early.

The hotel is very pleasant. Clean and modern rooms and very spacious. Access to the pool from your own terrace is fantastic. In fact the freeform pools winding throughout the buildings is the best thing about the property. Rooms were generally quite clean but not perfect. Also towels left for collection were often not replaced when the room was cleaned, depending on who cleaned the room. I had to call reception almost every night to have my aircon reset, as it would turn itself off each evening. Breakfast was pleasant but nothing special. Staff were lovely and helpful. The hotel is a short walk from the main road but staff were always happy to run you down or back again in good buggys. Check in was probably the lowest point. Not much greeting and then they ask you for 3000 baht security deposit instead of just authorising your credit card (which is odd and a little annoying as upon check out you end up with all this baht which isn’t helpful if you’re on your way out of Thailand) and they also give you a sheet full of hotel information to absorb in a hurry - which isn’t available in the rooms. After a long flight and long drive to the hotel it’s hard to remember. Overall I enjoyed my stay though and would recommend the hotel.

Beautiful hotel (stayed in a private bungalow with pool access for context). Pool in that area is picturesque, rooms are well appointed and very well maintained. Only thing I would offer as feedback is to try to orient large families with kids away from the more private sections of the hotel- end of stay we had a loud family right across the pool from our room waking up at 8am and screaming… not the hotel’s fault but maybe something to take into consideration as able as where guests are placed. Overall was a great stay and very easy access to the town and beach

Hotel room was excellent as well as staff service. Breakfast could have wider variety but what is available is nice. Great location with plenty of options of restaurants within walking distance. Beach is a longer walk than thought but not a major issue.

An absolutely stunning hotel in a walkable neighbourhood. The room was spacious with high end finishes, mattress was comfortable, and the fitness center/gym exceeded expectations. The beach shuttle is an added bonus!
