4 netter på Sofitel Ho Chi Minh
Dette var nok det beste hotellet vi overnattet på, på våre 3 uker i Vietnam. Alt var fantastisk! Beliggenhet er nært til sentrum, bare 8-10 minutters gange så er du midt i gryta. 3 minutters gange til Saigon Zoo. Fantastisk frokost buffet, her var utvalget svært imponerende. Flotte rom med daglig renhold. Helt supert. Bassenget på taket, sammen med baren var også noe vi brukte en del da det var svært varmt. Flott bassenområdet, med god mat og gode drinker. Synd vi bare var her 4 netter før vi måtte videre. Ho Chi Minh var en skikkelig kul by.

Basseng på hotellet var ut av drift i flere dagen før jeg kom. Det står ingen informasjon om dette på hotels.com/booking.com. Jeg ble informert etter innsjekking. Dette er alt for dårlig. Jeg ba en assistant manager å informere hotels/booking at basseng var ut av drift, jeg bodde 3 dager på hotellet ingen informasjon ble sendt videre til webside. Hotell tar ikke tid å informere kundene sine når fasiliteter er ut av drift.

Ble litt skuffet først, siden på Hotels.com sine sider står det at det er boblebad i rommene, noe som ikke stemte. Men etter en prat med de ansatte så var oppholdet fantastisk. Alt var nærme og lett tilgjengelig.

Deilig luksus! Kunne ikke vært mer fornøyd etter en måneds backpacking i Vietnam! Herlige senger og supert basseng! Personalet er som alltid veldig hyggelige.

Fint luksushotell med bra service.
Bra hotell med fantastisk service og frokostbuffet. Tregt internett på rommene og veldig varmt i garderobene ved treningssenteret og bassenget trekker litt ned, dessverre. Rommene er godt lydisolerte så trafikken på gata utenfor oppleves ikke som sjenerende. Mange restauranter i alle prisklasser i nærheten, men et lite stykke å gå til Dong Khoi handlegate.

Bodde på dette hotellet i 8 netter. Rommet var ganske stort, rydding, pent og rent. utrolig hyggelig personale Veldig fint basseng som jeg benyttet meg av nesten hver dag :) Ca.500m fra Diamon Plaza og ca. 1Km fra hovedgaten. Anbefales!

Flott utsikt fra bassenget over byen!
Bra utvalg av apparater, men litt trangt på treningsrommet. Frokostbuffet er veldig bra og variert, men de andre restaurantene på hotellet er ganske overpriset. Det er et lite stykke å gå til Dong Khoi restaurantområde (10-15 min), men rett bak hotellet er det en gate med fantastiske små japanske, koreanske og vietnamesiske restauranter.

Bra og sentralt, flott takterrasse
Vi var på Sofitel i noen dager før jul, før vi dro videre i Vietnam. Vi hadde et rom i åttende etasje. Fin utsikt, men litt mye bråk fra byen. Bra takterrasse! Vi hadde brunch på lørdag, som var bra men ikke fantastisk. Alt var bra men manglet luksusfølelsen. Skal tilbake om noen dager til Sofitel, håper det blir litt bedre.

Very good hotel with amazing breakfast for every taste. The only drawback was that we could not see the good wiew from our room when it was raining beacause of fog on the windows.

Great stay in Ho Chi Minh City.
I stayed at the Sofitel Saigon Plaza for 3 nights for New Years. The service was top-notch from the first minute. Great service all along, from the door men, to reception, to the house maids. They all made the stay comfortable. The rooms were of high standard, spacious room. Great bathroom, loved the loudspeakers connected to TV there. I had to have laundry done, and it was all hanging in my closet on my return from walking around, almost 10 hours before they said it would be done. Close to many major sights, quiet area at night. Would stay there again, without a doubt.

KEEP OFF PLEASE, there are better hotels
Except the front office manager, nothing was good. Right from the front office staff who duped us to upgrade and gave us the normal room on a floor where construction and heavy drilling was happening and lies that it was happening in the other building and not this, as if we were idiots, secondly housekeeping was sent in the morning despite do not disturb sign to chase us out so that they can complete the construction work. Yes the front office manager apologized and was kind and nice, I blame the hotel. This is not a Sofitel standard hotel period. This is some ordinary holiday inn express.

An excellent hotel. The staff are amazing - so helpful and attentive. Obviously a great training programme and excellent work ethos. Great position in the city. Would have hesitation to recommend this property.
