«After attending a wedding and staying at a resort at the northwest side of the island, we decided to try the opposite side. Very comfortable location overlooking a golf course. Even played a few holes. Very short drive to Volcano National Park where we spent quite a bit of time. Home was very clean, well equipped and owners were very accommodating. Very relaxing location. I highly recommend this location and would definitely come back if I was to stay in the area.»

«A peaceful getaway in the rain forest near Hawaii Volcanoes National Park with a great setup. We loved the privacy, the space, the easy access (that still gave a feeling of remoteness), the comfortable bed, the gas fireplace, the whirlpool tub and the wonderful kitchen. Everything seemed brand new. The house has been designed with several features that make me think the owner or designer is Japanese, including a genkan and a tanuki statue at the entry. «If only we could have stayed longer! We had booking the glamping unit, but because of water issues Theresa switched us to the Bungalow, which was so cosy. She agreed alternative breakfast arrangements as we had to leave early on checkout. We only had time to meet the chickens and ducks at the doorstep, but we saw the donkey and goats sheltering from the rain! I would definitely recommend staying here if you're making a trip to Volcano NP. »

«We absolutely loved staying at this secluded and peaceful location. The tropical forest surrounding us with its melodies was quite enjoyable!! We spent our days exploring and our nights reminiscing on the large porch and enjoyed every minute of it. Loved the large home with a full kitchen and lots of space to unwind. The beds were very comfortable and the large parking area was nice. A little sad that there was no laundry machines available only because it rained often and everything was so damp ...

«Every detail has been thought of! The room was beautiful, spacious, comfortable, and had everything you could need!! You really feel like you have your own private jungle bungalow. Slept like a rock in the comfy bed and the rain on the roof! Eric and Chris were SO great, wish we had more time to chat with them. next time :) It's super close to the park. «Hale Ohia Cottages ligger kort vei fra Volcano nasjonalpark. Jeg leide en veldig idyllisk frittliggende hytte. De holdt på å bygge mens jeg var der, med flere enheter i to nye bygg. Jeg synes det meste av sjarmen lå i det å ha sin helt egen hytte. Er du avhengig av godt nett er dette ikke stedet å være. Men ser du etter ro og sjarm anbefaler jeg stedet høyt. Jeg var to netter, og gikk lange turer i nasjonalparken. Veldig flott. Husk å ta en kveldstur dit, så du får med deg vulkanen i aktivitet. ...

«I am super impressed with how easy check in was, received an email with specific details. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. It was extra nice that our breakfast was in the room, especially because we wake up earlier than most guest. If we ever return to Volcano, we will absolutely be staying here again. Lots of restaurant options very close, the national park is extremely close too. Overall the perfect stay for my family. »
