We had an amazing stay at the studley hotel. Staff and room were outstanding and the orchid restaurant was out of this world!

The hotel is located in a very picturesque spot with the Valley Gardens on the doorstep. Everywhere is within easy reach. Restaurant food is excellent. Breakfast was a bit cold on the second morning but other than that, great place to stay.

It's a great venue for the Convention centre and the centre of Harrogate. Staff are lovely and very helpful. However, the room was quite tired and the the room cleanliness wasn't the best I've ever seen.

Great value stay
Comfortable and clean. Great value. Glad we pre booked the parking which was nice and secure with spacious slots. Staff were spot on.

Small dingy room
Room was small and dingy. Furniture all in poor condition, dull and scratched. Description says rooms are contemporarily furnished but they are not. Was not worth the nightly priice and would not stay again even though the location was good

The property is perfectly located in Harrogate, with every walkable in a short walk. The rooms were clean and tidy, making it an enjoyable stay.

Excellent stay
Excellent stay all round. Used EV charging point at hotel which was very useful. We were given a free upgrade to large room with excellent bathroom. One night ate in hotel and lovely meal.

When we arrived we did not have the car parking which we booked. Then we didn’t get the room we booked. We booked in 2nd floor and I know this because we booked a larger bed and was told the lift didn’t go to that floor and we had a short flight of stairs. We ended up in a room at the back on the ground floor. Outside the window was no view except the exhaust pipes presumably from the kitchen extract system. With the window open which I like, we had cooking smells. Apart from that the noise kept us awake until well after midnight and beyond. The receptionist kept saying we had booked through a 3rd party (Expedia) and they didn’t message me with all the details about the toom and parking , then who did!? They treated us like 2nd class Citizens because we booked through a 3rd party which was repeated all the time. If they didn’t want bookings through Expedia then why do it. We were told we would have to leave the car park by the next day and to park kn the road. Luckily we found a space. However the following morning when we checked out they wanted to charge us car parking. I refused. The pillows were very very heavy and very hard. A bit disappointing stay

Lovely hotel,perfect location for a visit to Harrogate, extremely clean,beds and pillows very comfortable ,tea coffe facilities in room,everything was lovely for our 1 night stay only thing was the parking we Thought we had parked ok outside hotel but we didnt realise that it was permit parking!!so received a parking fine,So make sure you get a parking permit from hotel (we did get one after)we would definitely use hotel again.

Lovely hotel with great staff.
Fabulous room with lovely view over parks and heritage-style buildings. Staff were absolutely terrific and happy to engage in conversation. Ate in restaurant which was top-notch. Short walk to pubs and other restaurants and on up to town centre. Really happy, comfortable stay.

A bit of Christmas shopping
Well situated for a quick walk into Harrogate. We had a top floor room. The lift does not reach the top floor. Not a problem for us. The quality of the bed, linen and presentation of the room was very high. Biggest bed we've slept in since America. We dined in the evening at the Orchid restaurant and were very pleased with the service and food. Cannot comment on the breakfast as we decided to go to Betty's at Harlow Carr. This is a very well situated hotel. Will we visit again, YES

Brilliant, friendly staff.
Great stay. Lovely room. Decor was a bit dark so I couldn't see enough from any mirrors to apply make up but nothing too bad.

Very comfortable central location.
Clean spacious room. Lovely shower & deep bath. Room on top floor. As listed building no lift to top floor (3rd)so those with mobility issues should request room on lower floors. Hotel reception on first floor Restaurant on ground floor. Lift available to second floor. Central location. Few minutes walk to Convention Centre, Bettys etc. Limited parking available on site (booking required in advance) but permits provided for street parking if no room in hotel carpark. Would definately recommend for a very comfortable stay in a cental location.

The Studley
Nice hotel well located in Harrogate, with good amenities including a great Asian restaurant. Limited parking available onsite at the hotel, but plenty of on street parking near by.
