I stayed for 4 nights when I was in town for business. Great stay, wonderful breakfast. I also ate at the hotel restaurant one night, and while the staff were lovely, the food was not great at dinner. The room comes stocked with 3 full-size bottles of wine (one out, two in the fridge) - added expense if you drink them ! But you can also ask for those to be removed.

I am always treated very well here. All staff gives exceptional customer service. I only gave a three to the property because some of it is a bit dated (carpet in my particular room, buttons on elevators, some of the fitness centre, hot tub). Good breakfast.

the stay at the property was ok, the staff is extremely rude. I tried taking up the parking issue which I had with Jeremy & Penny. Jeremy was extremely rude in his behaviour. Even when I am back in the city, will never stay at Cambridge Suites. The breakfast at the hotel was the same during my entire stay for the 4 days. The hotel management rips you off from charging $25 plus taxes for the parking, and also charges $250 incidental charge. None of this are conveyed by Expedia or the hotel when the booking was made. Overall, ride staff, pathetic behaviour from the front desk. Never staying again

Great staff at guest services. Really good breakfast food and facility. Everyone we encounteted was friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and roomy. Towel quality and quantity poor. Hallway traffic was very noisy.

One of the best locations in the city if you are taking in a game or show at the Scotia Centre. Close to shopping and lots of restaurants and considering it is right downtown, it was very quiet. Staff was great too.

Loved our view looking out over the Citadel. Very clean, spacious rooms, liked the attention to recycling, composting, other eco-friendly policies. Very nice breakfast with lots of variety - prefer gala apples to red delicious - less tough. Music a bit noisy, throbbing at times in restaurant. Don't like the hotel's policy of providing wine for purchase right in the room. This easy access may cause problems for individuals who struggle with alcoholism. Front desk staff could do with being updated on local tourist info. We were directed to waterfront for tourist info, only to be told that Halifax Tourist Information facility there has been closed for over a year. Out-of-season tour brochures, (such as Hopper) should not be on display until companies are open for the season.

Love how accessible this property is ,close to everything , the cleanliness of the hotel and rooms, great helpful staff makes your check in and check outs super easy ,greets you with smile , they really make your visit has stress free as possible. What I didn't like was I went out to an event and, when I came back the main doors to the lobby were locked. They are motion sensor, so I understand why the doors to the lobby were locked prevent wild animals coyote walking in , and just in general people from loitering in the lobby , they did out a sign to use your card or ring the buzzer to gain access to the lobby ,just found it a bit inconvenient outside to be looking for my room key to gain access to the lobby ,however I understand the reasons behind it.

Did not sleep well. Same floor as a sports team that did not have proper supervision from the coach. Noisy in the the hallway and knocking at doors at around 2:30 and 3:15 am for at least 15 minutes waking us up twice.

Very conveniently located and staff are very friendly. Obvious language barriers with Housekeeping staff but again they are very friendly. The facility is dated and our bed was very worn, definitely needed replacement. No protein option at breakfast was disappointing but the available food was of good quality.
