The bath tap was broken. My husbands meal got mixed up and took forever for the correct meal to arrive. I bill wasn’t separated properly . Kayaks weren’t available , pool towels were all used up and not replaced .

The property is beautiful and unique and the staff was very friendly and wonderful. We had booked our stay threw Expedia and with our booking we were supposed to be in a room with a balcony, we did not get that and when we asked to be moved we were told there was no other rooms available. Our room seemed to be the only one in the resort without its own outside space . It was right next too the entrance to the pool so we had to keep our window closed the whole time or anyone going to the pool was able to look into our room. We had no privacy at all. We had no outside space or light into the room. The room was also extremely dated and very different from the pictures online. We were woken up numerous times each morning by people coming and going out through the door to the pool and balcony. The room was right under the front desk so it was very loud our whole stay. The coffee maker would not work so we had to get coffee from the restaurant. The booking said bottled water would be in the room, it was not and when we asked front desk we were told to drink the tap water. We had also booked with breakfast included but were told when we checked in they don’t offer that anymore and we would have to pay for the breakfast, after a bit of back and forth they discounted our stay by $50. Even though $50 is certainly not enough money to pay for 2 days of breakfast for 2 people. All in all not a great experience, and a lack of care for the things that should have been included.

The staff are very pleasant. Very helpful. If peaceful and serenity is what you’re looking for then this is the place for you. A great getaway for any occasion and a short distance from Vancouver. Sunshine Coast is just pure beauty. Nature lovers will be pleased.

The property is beautiful but it still under transition and renovations. We were quite pleased with our experience. Our room was spacious but could probably use some sprucing and fixing up. We would come again. Just dont expect high end. The staff members were very kind.

We stayed at the luxury tent for a night. The place was tidy and had everything required for our stay and surroundings were very scenic. The tent we stayed in didn't have unobstructed views like shown in the pictures which was disappointing! Ideally they should have all the tents available listed with the appropriate pictures so the customer knows which one they are actually picking since they all don't have the same views and it was ~450/night which is quite expensive. Also be aware there is a boardwalk you have to take to reach these tents, less/compact luggage that are easy to carry is the way to go!

This property is not well maintained. In the tent suites the floor heating is not working. The blinds were broken. There are certain parts of the tent that are broken or falling apart and they are not being taken care of. We felt that the units need to be repaired if they want to charge over $300 per night.

Wonderful location but we wished the amenities were updated and the onsite restaurant open. Since all other restaurants are at least 15 minutes drive away, it would have been nice to dine in some nights. When we checked the room were not clean with dusty furniture and floors still had pet hair from previous guests. But they immediately sent someone to mop and dust after we requested it. They called it a resort but it more like a rustic accommodation and the rooms prices should reflect that, especially with very limited amenities available due to on-going renovations etc.

I would not stay here again. There was not help with luggage, no food on site and they charged my credit card for additional charges with no communication.

A beautiful setting with incredible views .The tent house was well supplied and luxurious with the big jacuzzi tub . We did however need a room change as the stay in the tent house was too cold despite the gas fireplace and 2 area heaters. The staff were excellent in accommodating this and offering a room in the lodge for the 2nd night, It was disappointing that the fine dining restaurant that is advertised was closed . The resort is under new management who acknowledge the need for a lot of maintenance and updating is needed ,this was evident in every area of this beautiful resort!

The tent was not cleaned prior to our checkin - dirty laundry, cigarette ash and pops left in the tent from the previous user. The complimentary breakfast was very stale store-bought muffins.

We stayed here pre pandemic and it was pretty special. They’re known for their luxury tents and I’d imagine they’re still the reason to go. That said we stayed in a cabin which according to Expedia is a rustic but nice log cabin with a private spa tub. Spoiler - there is no tub, instead it’s a leaking single shower that can’t really fit most adult humans. The room wasnt like the photos at all, no log cabin and the bed and seating area was completely different. 1 out of 5, it was trash. Dirty, things broken. I can’t believe this place is still rated as a 4 star hotel. Google needs to send their people back to remove two of those stars stat! Staff was nice and gave us a new room that was a bit better, but honestly wasn’t that great. Their was a spa tub that at least filled to the top, but the jets were broken and their was a slow leak. I don’t know if new owners came in or what, but I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you are staying in the tents, but even then I’m nervous to say that since the rest of the hotel is in disrepair.

Expected much more for this price
We went for a two-day couples-reconnecting weekend. We look for places that are luxurious for these things. This place had the high price tag (at almost $350/night) but was quite disappointing. We had a suite with a king bed. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable and the heating worked well. But the negatives were many... The living room is quite spacious, but had very little furniture in it, making it feel odd and like a cheap rental apartment. Plus, the couch was really a futon - not comfy at all. The bathroom had very bright neon lighting which also felt cheap. The bathtub (corner tub for two) was nice - except for the hairs in it - but the ceiling obviously had a mould problem which had been painted over, but it showed through. Plus, there were cobwebs in the corners. The road up to the resort had rusted camper vans and mobile housing on it. It felt very non-luxurious. The breakfast was just some bottles of orange juice and water, with some fresh muffins and rolls (with pads of butter and jam packets). The staff were helpful with restaurant recommendations. However, when we went to check out on Monday morning, the entire lobby was dark and locked at 8 am! It did not feel like a high class place. Had the price been $150/night I wouldn't complain. But the website pictures made it seem like a completely different place. If you are looking for a feeling of luxury, run.

The staff were excellent. The views spectacular. And once my wife got the app that told her the names of the stars and planets she was looking at, she rated this trip as everything she wanted and more. However, I wasn't as impressed. First, the unit, although well positioned, had a problem with the pilot light in the heater that was to be fixed just after we checked in. It wasn't so it was one cold night. It was the next morning when someone came to turn off the fire alarm that went on due to heat from the shower that things got back on track. And the water in the shower and the sink took a while to warm up then didn't stay with us very long. But the bed was comfy cosy and the views were spectacular. As for meals, on our first night my wife had the salmon which she declared was kind of dry. My prawns and scallops were smothered in crispy onions which overwhelmed everything else. The second night we shared the steak but despite telling our server we were sharing, the meal was brought out on one plate. I said we were expecting this to be divided in the kitchen. We were told, extremely apologetically that they didn't do that. So there we were, in a supposed fine dining restaurant hacking away at a tough steak and splitting our meal onto two plates. For breakfast, the eggs didn't seem up to the free range standard I'd expected in a 5 star resort. So at the end of the day I rated this as average to good. Again, nice people and fabulous stars but not worth $800 per.

We were excited to go to this hotel but it was way lower than our expectations. We were in multi bed suits for 4 people. It is very old hotel that it seems they forgot yo renovate it for a long time . Beds and pillows were smelly. Bugs were in room and food was over priced . Staffs were very friendly. Spa was ok but the staff works in spa , works in restaurants as well and give you feel not good the message person is now your waiter. Reception person do house cleaning. It seems they have limited staff to work all areas. Pool water was cold and it’s natural water temperature. Pool was dirty as well . It has a good view. For a night $415 and these conditions we bell we could find better hotel

Unique glamping experience with spectacular views. The standard tents are further away from the water but still offer great views. There is a small fridge and wine glasses, so bring a bottle to enjoy on the patio. The resort is very, very quiet and is located about 25 mins from a good selection of restaurants in Sechelt. Lots of mosquitoes at night, so bug spray is a must.

Beautiful view. Clean room. The parking was congested. Not enough. No Hot Tub, No heated Pool. No A/C in the room. No TV in the room. Very high price for the Value received. Staff is helpful. The message therapist was great.

We stayed in one of the luxury tents, and enjoyed the most relaxing stay, with unobstructed views of the ocean and nearby islands, and a tranquil forest behind us. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking and we hope to be back one day!

It’s not the resort it used to be. Everything is in disrepair, the pool is dirty, no activity. Restaurant is working only 2.5h for dinner. We cannot make the reservation for us. Breakfast was terrible! Cold and disgusting! The front desk is staffed by people who don’t know how to serve costumers.
