Lovely!
Our stay was fantastic. The only drawback was that the staff seemed a bit whimsy and we had to ask repeatedly for the same thing before it actually happened anything. That is of course just mild annoyances, and nothing to worry about. The breakfast was perfect, and had good vegetarian options as well! The rooms were lovely, and it was a wonderful stay. We are definitely returning!

A very poor experience saved only by very nice staff and a great location. Lots of extra costs, parking and breakfast both well overpriced, and to have to pay £10 for 1 hour in a very disappointing spa was a shame. Multiple toenails, fake eyelashes and various grime surrounds both the jacuzzi and the plunge pool, and worst of all, when visiting the sauna there was a huge pile of drain worms crawling around the floor. When we alerted the staff to it, whilst they were very nice and apologetic, we had to ask for a refund for the spa after we would no longer use the services, which they then gave. The rooms were very outdated, we had some very dubious looking stains covering the wall in out first room, which we then asked to change. The second room was without the stains, but still rather outdated (apart from the bathrooms which were nice). As mentioned the only good thing about this hotel was the staff, who were very accommodating and cannot be blamed for these issues. With the cost of the room, parking and breakfast youre paying well over £200 a night for a hotel when ultimately you would have a similar sized and equipped room in a travelodge or premier inn for half the price. Until the huge cleanliness and hygiene issues are fixed in the spa, and the rooms are updated, i would recommend spending your money elsewhere.

I loved my stay there. The robes where outdated and we’ve been promised free drink from the house as it was my friends bday and we never received them. But, other than that … clean, good facilities, near shopping places, spa is amazing. I absolutely loved it ❤️ I’ll be back soon 😅

Beautiful hotel, would definitely recommend, just 2 downfalls, rooms are quite dark no ceiling lights just lamps but i wouldnt drop a star for that cos its clean, tidy and very nice. However i would drop to 4 star simply because i paid almost £300 for the hotel room then had to pay £10 each time we wanted to use the spa and only for 1hr..all other hotels ive been to (which is quite a few) the spa is always included in the price, so that was very disappointing. Probably wouldn't stay again as it turned out to be alot more expensive then i imagined. But if you're not a spa person then this hotel is great.

Super friendly staff on arrival at check-in. Conveniently located next door to G live where I was attending a show. Complimentary drink received at the bar as it was my birthday. Up market but mnaaged to get a room at a good price. Clean and spacious room. A little noise from neighbouring doors in the morning but no external noise distrubance outside the hotel. Good location, 15 minute walk to the train station on departure.

BEWARE: parking onsite is away from the hotel and in a multi storey carpark 3 levels down to a basement! As a lone female I felt unsafe and asked for one of the reception team to accompany me. Good that he did - the barrier didn’t lift when I inserted my room card - didn’t work with his either but he radioed his team to lift it remotely. Once parked, access to the door to the lift also needed the room card - didn’t work again, nor did his. Again radioed to his team to open it. What would I have done down there on my own? Forget all the niceties in the rooms - offer better service and a functioning and safe parking facility. I won’t return!

It was one of the best hotel in Guildford according to reviews and certainly did not disappoint. The room was modern, spacious and has a nice character. I particularly love the separate shower and tub. Not much option for breakfast but the room service was amazing! Haven’t used the pool/spa services as you have to pay an extra £10 which is usually not charged from other hotels as you are already a guest.
