Helt ok
Hadde totalt sett et ganske greit opphold. Rommet var helt ok. Det eneste virkelig negative med oppholdet var at vi flere ganger observerte kakerlakker på terrassen, det var virkelig ekkelt.

Hyggelige personale, fantastisk frokost buffet, sjøutsikt fra egen terrasse. 15 min å gå til gamlebyen. Kommer gjerne igjen

Fint hotell med dårlig beliggenhet
Hotellet var fint og moderne, men altfor lite bassengområde da solsengene ble fulle med en gang. Beliggenheten er også veldig dårlig 30 min minst til stranda langs en VELDIG trafikkert vei hvor du nesten kveles av eksos. Litt dårlig service av han ene resepsjonisten også, men har Ellers ingenting å klage på.

Generell beskrivelse.
Fine og romslige rom, men kun 1 dusj i badekar er upraktisk og flaskehals når man er 4 personer. Ingen dusj i bad nr 2. Ustabil WiFi. Må betale ekstra for bruk av utendørs basseng på balkong. Blir dermed ikke benyttet. Hyggelig og dyktige personale, spesielt servitører. Godt renhold og god frokost. Litt lite basseng og tidvis mangel på solsenger og parasoller. Norske priser i hotellets restaurant. Noe lanh gangavstand (2 km) til bykjernen og nærmeste strand, spesielt når temperaturen ligger på 35-40gr.

Fint hotell, men lite basseng. Hyggelige og serviceinnstilte ansatte med få unntak. Minus hotellet har ikke egen strand eller strandsolsenger.

Perfekt valg.
Stor leilighet med høy standard, gode senger med dyner. Velutstyrt kjøkken og stor møblert terrasse. Gratis Spa. Fint uteområde med gode solsenger og flere terrasser med mulighet for servering. Opphold på hotellet var en perfekt valg for oss. Stille og rolig, men kort vei til "gamlebyen" med alt den har å tilby.

Vi bodde 7 dager på dette hotellet,fantastisk frokost,fint basseng område,10 minutters gangavstand til gamlebyen,veldig god service,det daglige renholdet av rommet var veldig bra,vi kommer til å benytte dette hotellet neste gang vi reiser til Rethymnon

Kjempebra hotell!
Vår familie på 2 voksne og 2 barn (9-11 år) bodde to uker på Macaris i august 2014. Vi syns dette hotellet var helt topp! Flotte store rom med stor balkong og nydelig utsikt til havet og "fortezza", fint basseng og superbra solsenger! I tillegg kunne mor trene yoga to ganger i uken og gå på spa. De ansatte var veldig hyggelige og hjelpsomme! Vi følte oss hjemme på Macaris!

Et fantastisk hotell!
Jeg og kjæresten var der i påsken 2014. Dette er et veldig fint og moderne hotell som jeg vil karakterisere som det beste hotellet jeg har bodd på. Hotellet skiller seg ut med å ha svært gjennomførte løsninger og detaljer slik som solide teak solstoler med tykke skinnmadrasser (istedenfor tynne slitte madrasser på plast stoler). Svært vennlig og serviceinnstilt personale og god mat. Store fine rom med gode senger. Anbefales på det sterkeste.

Flott hotell.
Hadde en fantastisk uke i rolige omgivelser. Hyggelig og serviceinnstilt betjening. Eneste minus, trafikkstøy, vi hadde leilighet i 2.etasje.

The hotel was beautiful. We had the room with the jacuzzi and steam room. The staff was amazing. Manolis especially was amazing. Highly recommend if your going to Crete. Short walk into the old town.

Amazing
One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Location, staff, view were all amazing. The only thing about the town Ethymno I would say is that it has a lot to offer but if you want to go to south or some of the other places that are renowned , they are usually on the other side of Chania and since this hotel is itself about one hour away from Chania it makes the trip longer. However the scenary as you drive is amazing so well worth it

Excellent Hot tub and sauna.
My Wife and I really enjoyed the wellness features of our stay. Large spacious room with 2 private balcony's with a sea view. These were really a strong plus for our stay. Excellent local taverns and eatery's. recommend renting a car to get around the local area. The internet was very spotty to un usable at times. The cable tv was also very poor. The Breakfast was average. not bad but nothing special. Overall the hotel was good value and will stay again if in the area. the staff like all of Greece were pleasant professional and very friendly. I RECONEMEND THE SPA AS WELL VERY NICE FACILITIES!

This was our fourth time staying at the Macaris and every time we have loved it. The staff are welcoming and helpful, the facilities are great, and it's the perfect location for exploring Rethymno without being right in the centre of town.

This property has amazing views and was so relaxing. It’s a little walk to shopping and restaurants in Rethymno but we walked down to the beach area across the street and along the water into town. We really enjoyed our walks and being close to the activity but not too close. The staff was amazing and the breakfast was excellent. The room was perfect, clean and comfortable! We would love to visit again.

Jolie terrasse et vue. Toutefois, impossible d’utiliser la baignoire à jets car bouchon pas étanche. Autour de l’hôtel ce n’est pas très beau, il faut marcher pour arriver au centre historique et aux plages. Le spa est petit. Le personnel est souriant et bienveillant.

The minute my husband and I entered the hotel, we were so happy. The people at the front desk were beyond kind and helpful. They answered any questions we had and were even available to help us call a cab whenever we needed to leave the hotel. Our room was especially amazing. It was so clean, comfortable, convenient in more ways than we were prepared for a hotel room, and quiet. We couldn't have asked for a better hotel to stay at while in Rethymno. We will stay here every time we return!
