Fint bassengområde med flott utsikt
Det oppvarmede bassenget var fantastisk. Området rundt var fint med behagelige solsenger. Flott utsikt fra en romslig balkong. Leiligheten hadde en enkel standard.

Rommene trenger en generell oppussing. Står superior rom har to dobble sovesofaer, det er det ikke. To smale enkle sofaer som en voksen vil slite med å få sove på. Heller ikke lystette gardiner, så det blir tidlig morgen... Basseng og bar området var fint.

Veldig fin mottakelse i resepsjonen. Når vi ankom leiligheten var det utrolig mye sukkermaur. I senga fant jeg en tom boks med nesespray og det var hull i lakenet. Maurene hadde også funnet veien til senga, veldig ubehagelig. Ble jo veldig bekymret for at det kunne være veggdyr. Badet var lite innbydende og dusjen bar preg av slitasje. Mulig vi var uheldige med vår leilighet, men jeg vil ikke bestille der neste gang jeg har behov for et døgn ekstra.

Generelt ett begynnende slitent hotel.. krane på vask kjøkken hang og slang.. dør til bad går nesten ikke igjen.. tv mindre enn en pc-skjerm. Som ikke virket. Orket ikke melde dette da vi ikke var så avhengig av tv. Renhold var ikke bra.. føtter og lugger var svarte bare etter en tur over gulvet- inn t il soverom. Frokost var veldig ok da. Men savnet en vanlig kaffetrakter der.

Slitt hotell, med stort potensiale.
For å ta det positive først. Hotellet har en fantastisk beliggenhet, med store balkonger og mye sol, fra morgen til kveld, fra de fleste leiligheter. Har ingen ting å klage på, når det gjelder renhold, høflige renholdere som gjør så godt de kan under vanskelige forhold. 5 ganger pr uke med renhold og nye håndduker. Så det negative: Hotellet har mange trapper til de fleste leiligheter, heisene kan i liten grad benyttes. Egner seg derfor dårlig til folk som er dårlig til bens. Vi hadde bestilt en superior leilighet, som vi håpet skulle gi oss en problemfri ferie, kostet oss kr 1650,- pr døgn uten kost. I den første leiligheten vi fikk tildelt traff vi på en masse små maur innafor døren, fikk derfor tildelt en annen. Den nye vi fikk var veldig slitt og utdatert, mye maur der og på kjøkkenbenk og spisebord, kjøpte myggspray, fikk da bort det meste. Her må full renovering til,uappetittelig på bad med mørk fugemasse, og lekkasje fra dusj. Dette er 3 gang vi bor på Riosol, det blir nok siste gang, inntil det blir renovert. En natt begynte det å regne, og det kom vann inn gjennom taket flere plasser, og vi måtte samle opp vann i det vi hadde for hånden, var redd det skulle komme inn på soverommet. Sola kom tidlig den morgen, og ting ordnet seg. Neste natt skjedde det samme, da ba vi om ny leilighet, det fikk vi, men det gikk hele dagen. Fikk refundert 2 døgn da vi dro, etter å ha sendt en mail til Riversun. I tillegg er det stort behov for daglig vedlikehold. Tette vasker osv.+++

Byttet rom 3 ganger mens vi var der. Første rom var shabby og skittent. Delux rom er d eneste som er greit der. Vi hadde lekkasje på rommet, rant i koffert å på klær. Ingen beklagelse, ingen som fikset. Annet enn å hente håndklærne vi hadde lagt ut for få bort vannet. Hundrevis av trapper, så ikke handicap vennelig. Heis fungerer dårlig. Kakkelakker på siste rommet. Kjip på dopapir, ikke minimarket på hotellet. Hotellet er gammelt, slitt og noe skittent generelt.

Fantastisk utsikt, ok basseng område. Men desverre stopper det der! Slitt og møkkete. Hadde de bare oppgradert litt hadde stede vært supert. Vi hadde det beste rommet de har på hotellet, men det var møkkete, slitt å nesten ikke noe utstyr på kjøkkenet. Kommer ikke tilbake!

Renhold var ikke bra. Det ble ikke vasket en dag av ferien vår og dusjen var tett. Vi fikk nye håndklær, men de tok ikke med de brukte. Noen av de ansatte ga god service og andre gjorde ikke… var veldig varierende. Hotellet ligger høyt oppe i fjellet, tar tid å gå hjem fra stranda. Kommer nok ikke til å velge dette hotellet igjen…

Litt skuffende, men gjorde nytten.
Heisen fungerte ikke så det var upraktisk å dra på en stor familie-koffert opp og ned 4 trapper. Kokeplaten sto på i det vi sjekket inn, så det kunne blitt direkte farlig om vi hadde kommet på kveld og ikke lagt merke til det. Det luktet innestengt kjeller på soverommet og dusjen var i dårlig stand med løs dusj som løsnet når man skrudde opp trykket. I tillegg føler jeg personlig at hotellet kunne gjort større tiltak mot alle duene som gikk rundt i restauranten og bassengområdet. Blant annet nektet enkelte gjester å mate de. Gode solforhold, og veldig kurrant for familier, men ikke optimalt for par.

Sjekket inn Fredag 04/11- 22 og det første vi ser er mye maur på rom, spesielt på bad. ( Generelt skittent ) Tar kontakt med resepsjon som sier de skal komme å se men lite skjer. Det sier de hver dag og mandag 07/11-22 pakker vi koffert å går opp i resepsjon og sier at enten får vi nytt rom eller så sjekker vi ut. Venter i vel 3 timer så får vi nytt rom men er på samme vise med maur og det virker som renholdet er slett gjort på dette Rommet å.

We are sorry for the inconvenience you had with ants in the rooms, but as you surely noticed, the Riosol is surrounded by beautiful trees, flowers, and gardens and it would be well nigh impossible for any Hotel in the Canary Islands to guarantee the absence of them as they are endemic of this subtropical area. Obviously, we try to avoid them with a good pest prevention program managed by a specialized company, but although our Sprays and fumigation programs have improved vastly over the last 10 years and there are fewer problems nowadays within our Hotel, yes sometimes ants manage to get into a room. Recently the European standard for fumigants used in accommodations has changed for the use of weaker and safer products, this has turned pest control into a harder but healthier task, making it impossible even for specialized companies to assure 100% protection against insects.Please note that though evidence of ants is a sign that the spray is no longer keeping them at bay; it says absolutely nothing about whether a Hotel is clean or dirty. In the residential areas, the councils have to spray communal areas regularly, and so does every householder. Your feedback is essential to us. Styr unna.
Etter mye styr fikk jeg tildelt et rom. Dette var fylt med vann over hele gulvet. På kvelden da det begynte å regne rant det inn vann fra en sprekk som gikk over hele taket, og løsningen ble å måtte bytte rom. På det nye rommet var slukene tette, og renholdsarbeiderne respekterte ikke «do not disturb» skiltene i det hele tatt. Ble vekket av renholdsarbeiderne som banket på hver morgen.

Veldig stort hotell og fine verandaer til hvert rom! Fin utsikt. To store fine basseng og aktiviteter på dagtid for de som ønsker det! Hoteller var veldig bra så lenge vi var ved bassenget eller på verandaen! Selve hotellrommet var skuffende, dårlig vasket og kloakklukt fra badet.. Klagde på dette, og det ble noe bedre. Veldig kort vei til stranden

Etter noen dager med fantastisk opphold, endte vi midt i covid-19 viruset, men uansett stilte ansatte opp og holdt renhold og sikkerhet på topp. Nydelig utsikt, trygge omgivelser. Oppvarmet basseng, flotte balkonger og solseng områder og gøyalt lekeområde. Vi koste oss veldig og fikk alt tilrettelagt ut fra behov. Heis, gangvei og trapper tilgjengelig ut fra eget ønske
