Overall, this was a very good property. I enjoyed the ease of check-in and check-out. Bed and pillows were super soft and comfortable! Air condition worked very well. Bathroom tub leaked 24/7, and was slightly dirty. Attempted to get coffee in the morning before check-out and the coffee machine was overflowing and the staff was working on cleaning it out. The issue was that they didn’t acknowledge that I was there waiting or even speak.

I can't not recommend this place enough. It was wonderful! Just a 3 minute walk to The Village which drops you out on the parkway in the middle of all the action. But you would have never known how close you were when you're at the hotel. We sat out by the fire pit after dinner one night and it was so quiet. The only thing we heard was the wind in the trees. Love this hotel and we will definitely be back!

At first, when I checked in, I didn't think it was so bad. Went out for a walk and dinner. Came back and found water dropping from the ceiling and all over the floor. Went to talk to front desk. She's the only one there and said she would call maintenance. And, there are no other rooms.

The shower was the size of a phone booth with a bench, making it difficult to accomplish a shower. If that was a handicap room, nothing was mentioned in booking. The closest receptacle for a hair dryer was across the restroom about 12 feet away…not female friendly. Bed was rough, back was stiff every morning. Room needed some help.

The WiFi was worthless. Most of the time it was so weak I couldn't connect properly. When I did connect, it was too slow. I ended up using my phone as a hot spot most of the 5 days I was there. If you count on a good internet connection, you won't get it here.

Fantastic stay. This is our go-to spot when we come to Gatlinburg because of the quality, affordability, and its location. The front office staff was FANTASTIC this time around in working to get us in a room early when we arrived much earlier than originally planned and wanted to rest. Couldn’t recommend more strongly to stay here.

Great location, decent service and the room was clean-ish, (The only reason for 3 stars). Our room was recently renovated and done very poorly. Cracks in the floor, outlet holes behind the bed are wide open with no cover in them. Old sink drain and plumbing still sticking out of the wall. Neither sinks drained, hot water pressure is meh. The bed wasn’t the right size for the frame. Would I stay here again? No. But maybe if they fix some of their issues I’d give it another shot.

PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! I had the worst experience at this hotel. First of all, check in process was awful. The receptionist seemed very unhappy and unapproachable. Didn’t smile once and had a bit of an attitude. Once we settled in our room, we used the bathroom and laid on the bed. shortly after the receptionist came in the room and asked us to move to a different room. She proceeded to say she gave us “the wrong room.” As soon as we got our belongings the next guest were checking in the same room. After we had already laid on the bed and used the bathroom. Did not clean it in between guest. They just let the next guest in. The room had a bad odor and wasn’t thoroughly clean. After being in the room for 20 minutes I got bit by something. I immediately left the room and decided to check out. I went to the front desk about my issue didn’t bother to care about my concern. I also spoke to the manager also did not care. Why would anyone want to stay some where that isn’t thoroughly clean and the staff is rude. PLEASE PLEASE STAY ANYWHERE BUT HERE!

We love that you are only 2blocks from the main strip, very easy walk.the room was very clean, big TV. The room was actually to clean smelled like pinesol. I let front desk know and he was going to talk with the clean crew about diluting it. Very receptive to my concern !!

Floors were not swept. Dead mesquites crushed on the wall and cobwebs covered one corner of the room. Toilet was loose and rocked. Bedding was clean and it’s a short walk to a lot of prime locations we wanted to visit.

Can't get a better price for a room in Gatlinburg - I've stayed at HOJO every time I've been to town. Thanks for giving us the most reasonable price, central location, and quiet tucked away spot away from the main road, but still easily walkable to shops, especially with that shortcut through the quaint village shops.
