Holiday Weekend Getaway
A cozy winter weekend getaway for the family. The property was easy to find and was clean and welcoming. We all stayed warm with a winter storm outside. We would look to stay here again.

Great cabin!
We stayed here sept 10-14 th. Wish check in was earlier because mikes store had just closed. Also nothing is open as far as activities or restaurants after Labor Day weekend so everything is limited if you go there during the week. We rented the Can-am from bear lake fun times and enjoyed exploring the trails.The pond which we have fished before is now full of moss. Someone needs to clean that pond u. Parking everywhere is $15 a day at the state parks , beaches n marina. The cabin has a lot of sleeping beds. The living room is a bit small maybe a bigger couch might help for bigger families to gather. We never used the fireplace or wood burning stove not sure where you got wood from. The front door entrance area has a raised floor which can trip people same with the raised floor where wood burning stove sits. It is a trip factor. Husband and kids hit toe a few times. Yard and deck is nice we saw a deer right in the backyard. We grilled some burgers and 10 minutes into it the propane ran out. Guess they didn’t check that or have an extra one. It was 30 mins while our burgers sat there before we got another propane tank. The power did go out while we were there. Our overall stay was great for what we needed it for. There is only one shower and two toilets. Does have AC and heat and laundry machines. There is plenty of parking. Overall it met our needs and would come back again.

Great location
Great location. Close to the marina. Loved the parking space. We usually have to park the boat somewhere else, but there was room here. Great toy/play room. Cupboard in kitchen was broken when we arrived.

Very Peaceful
It was very relaxing. I felt more rested and relaxed within the first 24 hours than I do having a three-day weekend at home. Aside from going out for a drive one day and a couple of trips to the store, we didn’t feel the need to leave the property. It is very well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and the means to cook a variety of items. My only negative is that we had to leave.

Pleasant Stay
Great location in Garden City, Utsh to access Bear Lake. Conveniently located. Quiet surroundings and peaceful. The cabin was very accomodating and convenient for all. Everyone in my party enjoyed. I would recommend for anyone tyat is traveling with children.

Great cabin at the lake!

Our favorite Bear Lake Retreat
We've stayed at quite a few places at Bear Lake and this one is our favorite! Loved the house, the foliage, the location and best of all dog friendly to bring our little fur babies.

Quaint and perfect!
We visited for a quick weekend with 6 adult family members and a pooch. It was awesome to be able to take our dog. The cabin was small and cozy yet plenty of sleeping places for us all. There were plenty of towels and amenities For us to cook up our meals. The barbecue was great for our steaks. It was within walking distance to the beach and marina. The home had plenty of beach towels stocked as well as a loaded game room which we used too! Would definitely stay again.

Nice getaway for people with no young children
Cabin was nice but wasn’t too happy with backyard garbages being full and birds eating the prior renters garbage, also Bbq grill was filthy so that set the tone right away for the trip. I think the main issue was the several Tripping hazards in the cabin they need some immediate updating they add lawsuits waiting to happen. There are a couple tile steps that are very sharp if you have little ones and they trip it and hit the corner of these tiles it could seriously Injure your child. Also there is a rock floor by the fireplace that has sharp edges where kids can easily trip. I would get these issues fixed immediately.

Great weekends trip
We had a great time here! We are about to graduate and wanted one last girls trip before we all part ways and this was the perfect spot! It gave us time and space to work on finals but also plenty of opportunities to go biking and on walks around the lake, and play games at night. Highly recommend this cabin!

Another Wonderful Stay!
The property was exactly what we expected! It was super clean upon arrival and each room was as pictured in the photos.... very pleased and very comfortable. The beds were comfortable, the towels were plentiful, and the kitchen was really beyond our expectations, with more utensils and plates and cups than we've had at other vacation rentals. The only troubling issue we had is with someone from the property to reply to my emails that I had sent two weeks for one and a week prior to our arrival for the second, neither email I sent did I receive a reply. Also, upon my reservation, I was confused as to why I was receiving two different company emails - one from VRBO and the other from Vacasa. I assumed that Vacasa had acquired VRBO, however, this email is from VRBO? So now I am once again confused? I have gone through VRBO on several occasions, but now I am perplexed as to who I go through for my next reservation. Other than that, we were very pleased and look forward to our next adventure! Cute little cabin
This listing needs updated pictures and a mentioning of the smaller hot water heater. We had a little difficulty getting the key but called customer service and they were awesome in helping. However, my messages sent online were never replied to in regards to questions I had prior to our stay. We had a total of 14 (9 adults, 3 teens, 2 kids under 10 yrs) which is the max at this place, and it was really tight with sleeping space and warm water for showers. I would say 10-11 people would be a better accommodation. We had to spread out and shorten the shower times in the 1 shower bathroom for everyone to get warm water. For sleeping arrangements, 1 teen and 1 child slept on the uncomfortable faux leather couches in the living room. 1 is a love seat size so only big enough for a child under 10. The stone flooring behind the fire place where the old stove is, stand up about 4-5 inches off the ground. This is a dangerous tripping hazard to get around the kitchen table. Almost everyone either stubbed their toe on the corner or tripped there. Theres no bonfire here but they do have a small back yard and a little hang out area in the corner of the house with seating. The patio space in front has plenty of seating and tables for eating and hanging outdoors. The beds aren't the most comfortable but it worked for the stay. We overpacked and brought our own appliances, but this place has it all already from a crockpot to the blender. The kitchen is definitely fully stocked with everything needed to cook. The little game room was also great for the kids! It was nice to get away with no wifi or cable here. Our family time together was truly intentional without noses in their phone or ipads or watching tv. Overall a cute little cabin to get away and enjoy family time.

Had a very nice time staying at this property! Beautiful cabin with adequate accommodations. Close to lake and Garden City. Not much going on in February, but would love to come back in summer with additional family. We got to see moose and deer out our windows!

Spring break adventures
We LOVED this place and will back again soon! It is dog friendly and a 5 minute walk to the marina. Close to restaurants and a short drive to the Idaho border. We will be back and hopefully for a longer time!!!!!!

Quiet retreat
We stayed at this cute little cabin with some of our family members. It had plenty of seating, beds, and even a place for the kids to play. It was cozy inside and righ outside our door was the bear lake marina and its beautiful tranquil waters. We went off season and want to come back again. Year round this will be a perfect place for our family to gather!

Nice little cabin
We had a nice time staying here. We played lots of games and had wonderful conversations. We spent time snowmobiling, and skiing at Beaver Mountain. We made great memories, but there were a few little things that were frustrating. There wasn’t an active internet connecting in the cablin. We had to use our cell phones as a hotspots to get internet to watch movies on Netflix. No Satelite TV or Cable TV. The cabin had an off air digital antenna for local channels. Some of those didn’t work at all. The water heater went cold after (2) 5 minute showers. We had a group of 10 so we had to stagger showers though out the day just so everyone could have a nice and warm shower. Over all my family have a wonderful time staying here.

Hi Garrin, We appreciate your feedback an apologize for the inconveniences faced during your stay. Unfortunately, the listing does state that this home does not have WiFi as an available amenity, but with that being said we will request that "no cable" is also added as there are only a DVD and VHS library available. A new water heater was installed after Thanksgiving, but because this is a smaller cabin it accommodates a smaller water heater.

Our family of 5 plus my mother-in-law stayed here for 2 nights during "fall break." It was the perfect size for us. It felt cozy but still plenty of beds to have our own spaces. The pantry wasn't very well stocked but it wasn't a huge deal. Some tin foil and ziploc bags would have been nice. We enjoyed the foosball table! We didn't use the nearby community pool because we didn't bring suits but that's good to know for next time. There's no WiFi which was pretty inconvenient but we survived. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would probably stay again.

Beautiful, warm and cozy family getaway
This was our first time getting a cabin at Bear Lake, and we were lucky to find the Aspen Hideaway. We stayed right after Christmas for a few nights and thought the cabin was beautiful. Plenty of beds for our family. The kitchen had everything we needed for the meals we had planned. It was quiet and warm at night and beautiful views in the morning. Close to the lake. 2 complaints: 1 ½ bathrooms were a little tricky to manage and could use a couch for more seating. The Epic Rec. $100 coupon would have been great to use, but we tried to contact them for a couple of weeks to rent a snowmobile and we had no luck. By the time we got there, they were gone. We hope to come back many times and even try in the summer as well. Thank-you so much.
