If you had your golden days in the 80ies, you just threw out your respatex table, Tjæreborg, Ving and Startour meant "Syden", prawn cocktail with loads of thousand island dressing and American stew was what you would serve your guests, disco is your dance of choice, galliano hot shot with whipped cream is your favourite, and if you and your wife have had countless of dinners with nothing to speak about - this might bring back loads of memories! It apear that this hotel had its best days. Our room (806) had a balcony with view of the sea, it had a lot of bird excrements on it, otherwise the room was spacious and the bathroom clean. The meals where all served like a buffet: totally OK: you will find everything an average German, Brit or Scandinavian would like to eat...The clientelle could be my grandparents: all very cute! It is a minus that you have to pay for the Wifi. The high-light of our stay was the cleaner - very wise and nice woman (because of her we would actually like to go back!)
Definately not a four star hotel - but hey, retro has its charm! (?)
