2nd stay. Excellent location. Rooms are clean and have basics that you will need: fridge, microwave, beach chairs, towels, comfortable bed. Just steps to the beach. St. Maurice has no pool, so maybe not best choice for families. It is small and has no restaurant, but a short walk away there many ecclectic food choices on boardwalk (if you like Peruvian, Italian, Argentian, etc.) Food is mostly excellent, but most restaurants get very loud during diner. If you want quiet, you can get your food to go, and eat it under a palapa at the pretty courtyards of the St. Maurice. I don't think parking nearby is great, but we didn't have a car. We took an Uber to/from airport There is a shuttle that will take you around town as well as a water taxi that's only short walk away that has many stops in Fort Lauderdale.
If you are looking for a 5 star hotel, this place isn't for you. But my husband and I found that the St Maurice had what we needed, in a great spot, and at an awesome price. We will be back.
