They changed the room without notice or option.
Room was reserved for two guests and only had two towels, toilet paper was not changed and garbage cans had no bags. Was supposed to get a beach front room and received a partial beach view. No apologies or accommodation was made, was technically told that that’s what happens when you book through a third party. They prioritize people who book directly with them. So they do not uphold agreements with 3rd parties.
The pool area doesn’t have sufficient seating-lounge chairs for the amount of guests they take in.
The elevator for beach access doesn’t work.
The Gym AC didn’t work nor the AC in the women’s bathroom next to it. Gym is also limited in space.
Room service stops at 9pm. They took our order at 8:20pm, called back around 8:50 to tell us they would not be fulfilling the order.
There were many Managers and staff that were accommodating and apologetic, but the expectation is that the complete staff behaves hospitable; many of the front desk staff were rude and could even say disrespectful.
My card was declined due to standard security reasons, they automatically put a hold on the release of my vehicle from valet, even though I immediately went to the front desk to make payment. They ended up double charging me and when I left to get my vehicle they had not removed the hold on it even though I had made payment hours ago.
Overall the WORST experience at a hotel I have ever had. You expect a lot more from a Hilton.
