A few nights prior to our start beginning we texted the owner with a few questions abount amenities and supplies at the property, and we recieved a quick reply. «We had a great time! The house was lovely! We’d have loved some more storage (there weren’t any hangers or shelves/dressers. We also would have loved a pantry space to put our food for the week. «Highly recommended this property for those who want an experience different than the typical motel. At check in you are greeted by the owners, who do it all! Very friendly, welcoming and informative. Rooms are very simple, cabin like feel. Great access to the beach. And the best part of our stay was the nightly fire. Grear time just relaxing and chatting! «Our family really enjoyed our stay at the Francis House! The house housed 8 comfortably with plenty of interesting rooms for the kids (and adults) to explore, a great yard, and stocked firepit. The location couldn't have been better, minutes from downtown Ontonagon, right down the street from groceries/gas, and smack dab in the middle of all the hiking, beaches, and waterfalls you could ask for.»
