«The cabin was very clean and beautiful. We had a great time on the paddle boat and caught around 14 pike and 1 perch. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and looking over the lake. The grass was freshly mowed and looked so nice. We would definitely recommend this place and would stay there again.»

«This is a nice small cabin with a great view of the lake. We stayed for one weekend off season but I am sure it is a great place to vacation in the summer. It has everything you need, very clean, and the hosts go out if their way to make sure you are comfortable. It is an upgrade from camping but if luxury is your style, it isn’t for you.»

«We loved everything about our stay. We had gone up to go to the I-500, but decided to stay right where we were, it was so peaceful and lovely. The host is most generous and very hospitable. «The one-room cabin was overall wonderful. The view of the Trout Lake is beautiful, and the cabin is centrally located for any destination you want to get to. The host was polite, and answered every question or concern we had almost immediately. The little heater in the bathroom was a big plus. Towels and blankets were plentiful and the entire cabin was cleaned with some cooking utensils which made making dinner easy. Overall amazing stay!»

«The property was just as listed. Nice space for a large group of women. We didn't need to use the cute little stove as the weather was warm. Two of us used the screened-in porch as a bedroom--such a nice view of the stars and great breezes! Kitchen was perfect for light cooking--everything there for our needs. Plenty of towels! Even plenty of hot water for showers--for a big group!»

«Did we enjoy our stay? Yes Would we like to stay there again? Yes But the cabin may not be for everyone. Others have commented on deferred maintenance, and you may find window-coverings/windows/window locks that don't work well or at all, flaking paint on the bathroom ceiling, duct tape on the floor, or shaky railings outside. «We had a wonderful stay over Labor Day weekend and this was a perfect location to stay. Enjoyed the peddle boat and outdoor picnic tables. Beautiful sunrise in the morning. Close enough to hit the waterfalls too. Very friendly owners and great local pizza at Trout Lake tavern.»

«We loved the house and all of its charm. The view was amazing. Loved watching the freighters on their way to/from the Locks. We were there during both hot days (85) & cold (40). The ceiling fans kept the place very comfortable during the heat & the furnace kept us cozy when the weather turned. Great location with an amazing view! Convenient to gas, places to eat, groceries, and more. Host was responsive & helpful. We would love to return again!»
