The hotel overall was great, loved that there was a gas station right next door so we could buy snacks and a toothbrush that was forgotten. I felt safe, it was quiet. Just up the road was lots of shopping. My only downside was the bathroom had no bathroom lock and the toilet could have been scrubbed cleaner but overall great. we come to Dayton a few times a year to visit family this will be our go too hotel.

The bed was hard as a rock, the toilet wasn't very clean. The room next door had a dog that barked, howled, and wined all night. I used to work at a hotel, both cleaning and night audit.

When you close your eyes every hotel room looks the same. The Red Roof Inn is no exception. On the other hand, We chose the RRI based on location, price, and the pictures of the adverts. When we arrived the room was not much like the advert and there were several amenities not available. There were no maps on the nightstands, no coffee maker and the overhead lights were lacking bulbs. There was an ice machine at the far end of the property. The staff was not particularly cordial. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable. Since all we did was sleep there - it was enough. \

This is an older hotel, but overall maintained. It was well worth the amount that we paid for our stay. Nobody was too uncomfortable. For a pet friendly hotel that also has smoking rooms available, the room did not cause any allergy problems, and the linens smelled fresh. The beds were neatly made and the towels were restocked before each night of our stay. I would have liked for the beds to be a touch softer and to be provided with more pillows. The bathroom was tiny, and the shower head made a sharp noise when we showered. It was odd to have found a straight razor on the bed-frame. I assumed it was from a previous guest because I don’t really know what else it would have been used for. There were a lot of stink bugs in the room but no other creepy crawleys. Our next door neighbors were sketchy as hell, and they knocked on our door at 2am.

This motel is kinda of gross. The air conditioning was on when entering I assumed to mask the damp smell in the room. There was a stain on one of the bed sheets visible. When we woke up, there were 3 moth like bugs and several flies in the room. Plus they charged me an extra $50 deposit when I checked in.

Good location right across from Nutter Center. Room smelled like dog, musty. We got in very late and the main lobby was closed. next morning we complained about smell and got moved to a different room. Socks still turned black after walking on floor.

Was concerned about what we were in store for when we pulled in. The hotel sits right next to a gas station. We were lucky we got a room on the back side away from hustle and bustle of that. The outside of the hotel was dirty. There were cigarette butts everywhere along the walkway to our room as well as some trash. The room itself was ok although outdated . It was clean . The mattresses were at the end of their life and not the most comfortable.It was ok for a night or two but wouldn't want to stay there for an extended amount of time.

Price was right. Clean enough but peculiar room - half carpeted, bathroom large but no counter space, etc. Bed was clean and comfortable. Wife would have been apprehensive but son and I were OK as it provided the bare essentials we needed.

The price point was excellent and I wouldn’t expect the Ritz Carlton, but the plumbing was a joke. You have to hold the handle down on the toilet for over 10 seconds to get it to flush (barely) and the shower had nearly zero water pressure and made a high pitched whining nose the whole time. Add in the barking dogs in rooms near me to make me never stay here again. Highway noise was expected, so no surprise there.

I booked a two night stay. The staff was friendly however the property was rundown and excessive cigarette smoking was a problem. My room’s floor was sticky so I had to put down towels on the floor. The bedspread has stains all n it. The room had a smell of chemical and cigarettes smoke, I could not stay the second night.
