Thank you for the great rating Casey. It looks like you came in on a Monday. The beginning of the week is always slow as Eureka is "recovering from the weekend" :). There are 4 stand alone cabins on the property and the other accommodations are rooms. We try and convey that on all internet sights by calling out that they are rooms or cabins, but sometimes people overlook that. We're glad you enjoyed your stay though and if you come back in the future, let us look into one of the cabins for you.

Sorry to see you didn't fully enjoy your stay Christine. Unfortunately without any feedback, there's nothing for me to address to try and improve the experience for people.

Unfortunately everyone can't be pleased, especially those that lack the capacity of due diligence. I personally went into this room and there is no musty smell and the faucets are standard faucets that a child can figure out. Towels sufficient for two people are in the small room 102 (which is the least expensive room) and daily cleaning and replacement is offered. Guests that put things down toilets that they shouldn't, tend to cause things to plug up and managers have to take care of situations that arise. There's nothing "weird" about providing customer service. The "sister's room" is the studio room #207 with clawfoot tub that every picture is available online when booking for anyone to look at prior to booking. Buildings built in 1910 that are renovated will still have space challenges, but it's unfortunate that people who book rooms sometimes do not pay attention to what they are booking. This review will to be taken with a shaker of salt. We hope this guest enjoys staying at any property that we do not own moving forward.

Although I believe the room is very attractive and comfortable, I certainly agree that the stairs are not for everyone. The property was originally built in 1910, so we have some historical challenges we work with. Room 302 is the only one with a significant staircase. We hope you can visit us again sometime.
