Thank you for sharing your stay experience with us. I'm very glad to see you enjoyed your stay with us especially our comfortable beds. Unfortunately, with many prepaid online bookings the guest's payment for room and tax goes directly to the travel agency and in those cases, we don't have any access to that transaction or have any ability to produce a receipt for that payment. However, the third party should have provided that at the time of booking, and it was likely emailed to you. In any case, thank you for the review and we hope to see you again.

First, the person who checked us in seemed completely uninterested in welcoming us or anything else. Secondly, in the morning as we shaved and took showers we get was tepid rather than any hot water. The property seemed “tired” in several ways.

We booked another hotel which didn’t work out due and we checked it within 10 minutes of our arrival for several reasons. Reviewed Expedia site and found The Red Lion! Felt safe. Surrounding area felt much safer than the other hotel and parking was available on your property. Check in was very quick which was awesome because we were in town for surprise birthday party which was to start approx 45 min of check in! We’ll definitely be staying at The Red Lion next time in town. Thank you!

Was really disappointed on their complimentary brakefast. All there was to serve was toast and a couple other things. For the money i spent i would think they would have a better option

My qualms are with my Expedia reservation not actually reserving a room. I reserved a family suite, but when I arrived they did not have one available. The property rectified as best as possible with an executive suite, which replaced a queen bed from the initial reservation with a pull out couch.

Unfortunately, our team identified a maintenance issue in the room that required significant repairs that were not able to be completed until the day after your arrival. I can see that we were able to offer you a similar room type of a 2 room suite that had 2 beds and a pull out couch as the 3rd bed. Really helpful and friendly staff, clean and quiet rooms (we were on top floor). Convenient location to Redwood Acres/Fairground, groceries, walk along water. Slept really well for two nights!

The front desk area was lined with buckets catching water from multiple leaks. Our room was horrible. Bed bugs, bathroom full of dust, hair and mold. Terrible experience.

Had you let the front desk know there were issues with your room we would of been happy to move you rooms and do proper inspections. Cold and strange
The room was decent. There wasn’t A lot of guest or so it appeared because the parking lot was always empty so A room with A view would have been nice we just had A view of the roof and the back of the front of the hotel. The main issue is other than the room every inch of that hotel was cold. The counter folks were always warming up next to A portable heater. The hallways, public restroom. We couldn’t even sit in the dining room for breakfast as it was comparable to Antarctica. Friendly staff except the guy front counter man came into the dining who creepingly just stood there staring at my wife as she was making herself A cup of coffee. She finally asked him if he needed anything when he snapped out of his staring to grab some creamers for the front desk.

Don't Stay in Room 311
I've stayed here before. The prices seem to be a good value for the area; and everything is usually great. This trip, I was in room 311, and it's across the hall from some sort of machine (heater, AC unit?, unknown), but about every hour and a half, it would make a REALLY loud sound, that woke me up throughout the night. So I'd say the hotel is fine... but maybe stay away from rooms around 311.

Strong smell of mold. Repainting didn’t solve the problem. No complimentary breakfast. Basic cable with no movie channels. However, staff was helpful and the TV was new.

Hello, The staff were amazing. Everyone was kind and courteous. The purpose for the average score was mainly due to no hot water. My disabled grandmother and I was unable to shower. Staff was notified and they contacted the maintenance man immediately, however the water still remained cold after running for 38 minutes. An apology was issued but that was all. I was never offered a discount on future or current stay, and I definitely wasn't offered a refund. It was a major inconvenience.
