Work retreat

better than ever
We did not have enough time to utilize all the play things this home had. We were there for a small reunion of friends. The place easily accommendated all the guest comfortably. I don't think there was ONE complaint. We rented a boat to ride around the gorgeous lake. But the home had kayaks, a canoe, and bikes that we didn't have time for. The ping pong table was a big hit. They also had a music room above the garage. We wish we had stayed a week!!! When we had a slight problem with the jacuzzi, the owner was on it. So nice to have a quick respond. Can't wait to come back!!!

Relaxing stay!
We came with another family for spring break. All the kids loved the hot tub and they were outside for hours on end kayaking, fishing on the dock and taking the canoe out. We topped off the nights with smores at the fire pit. It was so relaxing. The grill didn’t work while we were there but Steve was looking into what the issue was so it should be up and running for the next guests. Enjoyed our stay!

Lovely place for a large group or family to gather with much available for recreation (on lake and otherwise). We were busy attending a family wedding and rehearsal dinner but hope to revisit in the future.

Super Bowl Weekend Reunion
We had a great stay and had everything we needed. This was a perfect place for a group of middle aged friends to reunite, play some golf, and enjoy the Super Bowl together. The house and hosts were terrific!

Another Great Stay!
This is at least my 5th time staying at this property. The house is lovely, has everything we needed! We enjoyed the new living room furniture which was very comfortable to hang out in for our relaxing girls weekend. There is plenty of room, and the views are wonderful!

Great spot for large groups
This house is huge and has ample room for large groups and multiple families. Our group has stayed here twice and very much enjoyed it both times. I am very picky about cleanliness and I think the cleaning crew does an amazing job - everything was spotless! The interior is not updated or upscale, but the outdoor space and amenities offered, such as kayaks and bikes, make up for it and make this house one of the best values on Lake Oconee. Our group would definitely stay here again.

Dad’s Birthday Getaway
We created unforgettable memories celebrating our father’s birthday. Our children ages 2 to 42 enjoyed the property amenities taking bikes ride, roasting marshmallows by the fire pit and relaxing in the hot tub. ***I will suggest the cleaning crew needs to be more detailed for safety reasons.***

Wonderful House
This house has all of the amenities you can think of! Beautiful location, plenty of space for everyone, awesome porches, top of the line appliances, linens, etc. Beds were super comfortable. And Steve (the owner) stopped by for a short visit, making sure that everything was just perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed getting to meet him. Would highly recommend this house and hopefully one day we will get to come back!

Exceeded expectations
Grandmother and mother of the Groom thoroughly enjoyed and loved their private suite above the garage. 3 beds, cough, huge TV. The main house is exactly what you see in the pictures! Hot tub was amazing, multiple , well decorated bedrooms. Master suite and another “piano” bedroom on the main floor. Upstairs will hold friends and family with multiple bedrooms. Being on the lake was stunning. The owners were very responsive and kind. My highest recommendation!

Wedding weekend
The house was great for multiple families. We had 3 generations for a wedding and there was plenty of space. It was so nice for us to be able to sit and visit in mornings, evenings, and in between wedding events. The adults enjoyed the inside living space and kids loved the games available-ping pong, corn hole, and footballs, etc to play outside. It was a little too cool for swimming but 2of the kids jumped in lake-and back out quickly! The hosts were very good about answering questions I had before arrival and responded quickly. The location was very convenient to shopping and activities!

Perfect for family reunion
Perfect for our family reunuion. The property is beautiful . The kitchen is inviting, and the bedrooms large and comfy. The decor is meaningful and interesting. Better than advertised!
Annual family/extended family vacation with ages from 5 through adult and everyone loved it. House was great and sleeping accommodations were great for our group. House provides tons of extras in terms of things like kayaks, great record collection, games, etc. Location is also great close to many restaurants and grocery stores. Hope to be back soon and will be the first place we look at booking.

Gathering to celebrate 50th wedding anniversary
This house provided for spacious living quarters for our group of 13 people. Everything was available for outdoor activities on the lake and indoor leisure. The scenic view was beautiful. Loved hearing the birds each day. It was so enjoyable that no one really wanted to leave. The neighborhood was peaceful and yet the location was a few minutes' drive from anything we needed. We felt blessed to have found this wonderful getaway!

Lovely home and hosts
The house and location are lovely. Steve and Lana are wonderful hosts and are very helpful and responsive. It was our family vacation week with our children and grandchildren and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The lake and dock, hot tub, firepit and ping pong were some of our favorites. We rented a boat and brought a jet ski that we were able to keep at the dock. So much fun!! Just want to mention a few things that didn't work well for our family of 16: The dining table in the house only seats 6 people. There is a folding table and chairs in the garage, which can be put on the enclosed porch to seat 6 more people (so there is only table seating for 12 people). We like to try to eat together as a family at the end of the day, but everyone had to spread out in different areas with some balancing their plates on their laps. There are 4 bedrooms upstairs, but only 2 bathrooms (none with hallway access). It would be helpful to have hooks and towel bars in allnthe bathrooms. There are no closets, dressers or surface areas in the bedrooms, so it's hard to unpack. Overall, it was a wonderful week and we really appreciate Steve and Lana's hospitality!

Home Away From Home
Kollross Cottage is your home away from home. As soon as you walk in the door you feel a weight lift from your shoulders and you know your vacation is going to be completely relaxing and restorative. The home itself has so much personality and the decor is unique, interesting, eclectic, warm and inviting. There are so many nooks to sit quietly and enjoy the breeze but also several wonderful gathering spots for visiting. The hosts are incredibly personable and have a sincere enthusiasm for their guests to feel at home and have the best get away experience possible and they do not disappoint. Highly recommend !!! Our family has stayed at Kollross twice now and just booked a third visit and are already counting down the days.

Lovely property!
We stayed here for my dads 80th birthday celebration over Easter weekend. There were 15 of us - 8 adults and 7 kids aged 8 to 20. The owners were so helpful and receptive the whole time and were willing to do anything to make our stay comfortable. The location of the property is awesome as it’s super close to the grocery store and many restaurants; it’s also on a quiet and serene street. While there were technically enough beds for all of us, it was a little tricky having to share bathrooms with such a diverse group of people. Upstairs can sleep 11 people - but there are only 2 bathrooms. The other thing to keep in mind - if you’re coming for an event or have any nice clothing - is there are no closets and hardly anywhere to put your things, including in the bathroom. We made do and it was fine but that was a little surprising. Unfortunately for us, it was raining almost the whole weekend so we weren’t able to take advantage of the outdoor activities - and there’s a lot in that regard! It was fun though, having the ping ping in the garage and the stocked game closet.

Excellent Home!!
The home and property are beautiful just as the pictures show. They have thought of everything to have a good time with friends. Fire pits/hot tub/Ping pong/foosball/corn hole/kayaks/fishing gear and more. A bed for everyone in out party of 10. The Kolross family was kind generous and responsive. Very easy to work with for planning our weekend.

Great for a lot of people
Property manager was VERY responsive, lots of beds for sleeping and location is good. Our group didn’t get a chance to enjoy the lake or outdoor amenities. Wish kitchen was a little larger and had a second refrigerator (accommodating a lot of people means lots of food and drink). Overall, it was a nice stay and would recommend to others looking to stay in the area.

Had plenty of rooms, good gathering space, incredible "outdoor living" and super close to everything near Lake Oconee. Family friendly vacation
Our 2 large families (ages 1 - 48) enjoyed staying at this beautiful lake house. Plenty of space and activities for everyone to enjoy. Location is about 1 hour away from other larger cities or tourists sites to see. Great spot and loved having a Publix close by!
