It was good except that if you need something you can't call at the reception, you need to go physically. Shower head needs to be fixed so that the water can flow properly.

Albany should not be a hotel cos it does not have the actual stds of a hotel. The 1st room i was given room 39 was dirty nbi has to go to reception to ask foe another one. The reception is deceiving cos it looks clean but joooo. From 1st floor the smell of the carpets is unbearable considering that its the breakfast place. Then the others floors n rooms are not welcoming from walls to carpets need a redo. In fact i regretted cos i wanted my family to have a great time but we did not cos i guess its mangement do not care

A nightmare
It was a nightmare , very very bad standard , people shouting and yelling every night until 2am in the morning , no towels , key to be reconfirm every days . Stolen close …. The worst stay in hotel possible .

Terrible Experience
The reception area was ok, and the lady assisting with the check in was helpful. However, I was deeply disappointed with the rest. As we stepped off the lift, we were welcome a not so clean looking passage way leading to our room. The room looked absolutely nothing like what we saw in the photos when we made our booking. It was an old and tired looking room that we were allocated. It just looked like it desperately needed some renovation. The bathroom was worse. I will definitely be not booking here again, nor would I recommend it to anyone.

What a horrible experience
This was unlike anything we've ever experienced The photos on web is not at all what you get. It is a filthy, smelly place. No water in rooms, no ice available..towels have holes in...just disgusting. I have complained just after our stay but nothing came of it....never ever again!!!

Staff were friendly! Check in went oke We walked up to our roam prostetutes everywhere , just dirty roam in general. A lot of noise! And then the biggest thing not a safe neighborhood at all just stay at the coast don’t go to the city

Clean average hotel
Hotel is right on the main street at a busy stop. Clean comfortable reception area. Strict on check in and heck out times of 10am and 2pm irrespective of arrival time. Rooms clean with a pungent smelling wair fresheners. 60rand I Breakfast not on the room. Threadbaŕe carpeting

my stay it Albany hotel was so amazing, cz my mom really loved the cleaness of hotel and staff that was so sweet and very lovely to us and break fast was served nice and affordable. I really loved two cleaners called pinky and tamara they are funny and lovely people thy must keep up the good service at all the time big uppp guys

Hotellet är ofräscht och ligger inte alls så centralt och nära stranden som det påstås. Receptionen ger ett lovande intryck men rummen är förskräckliga. Äckligt på toaletten.

Awful experience overall
In general we had an awful experience there. The first challenge was finding the hotel itself since the street name showed on web does no longer exist. Then when we arrived there after a 12-hour drive there was not space to park our vehicle nearby the hotel as right in front of the hotel there is a busy bus stop and parking is forbidden. Therefore we had to scramble to find a space to park at a rush hour and then cross the busy roads to the hotel reception with luggage for check-in, And it was at this point that we were informed that they an arrangement with a parking provider almost a block a way but required separate payment - this was had not been communicated to us during the e-booking process. Then we found out that the breakfast was also not included in the daily rate which made me feel cheated as all that information was not explicitly shown during the e-booking. The make the matters worse, all my kids are allergic and the hotel is full of heavy and dirty carpets which caused problems to our kids throughout our stay. The bathroom's walls were covered with fungi. The curtains and blankets had stains of dirt. The Wi-fi was so week that it was completely distributional. Bu the worse was of all was when we woke-up without running water on taps and when we approached the management for help with few litters of water just to brush teeth we were repealed by a white south-African lady in a manner bordering racism.
