Disabled room was not very accommodating. Breakfast was average, not many choices. Not safe to walk to beachfront.. Newish hotel ok for short stay.

The staff was exceptional. The lobby is very nice. Room was spacious and well appointed. I was surprised by our shower as there was nothing separating the shower from the toilet and sink. So once you shower the floor in the bathroom stays wet.

wonderfully run hotel in the north beach area of durban more of an aparthotel than your usual hotel as the rooms are very big with plenty of extras, separate bedroom , living area & shower room. possibly the best hotel i have stayed at in South Africa all the staff were great , reception very helpful , dining staff good & housekeeping very good special mention for Annie the planning manager & TJ the hotels driver / guide around Durban

Bed linen was very thin, old, dirty. The toilet was stinkinhg likr a oublic urinal, entire room smelled like a restroom. There were roaches. Staff were nice, and breakfast was good. Security guard at the gate was very unfriendly, combative and unhelpful, he did not want to come to Uber car to allow it in saying the customer is one who needs to come to him to seek hrlp but not the guard.

I had a good times,the room was great but please add a fridge and Microwave in your rooms.quests eat & drink at any time during their stays.add those two in the rooms and observe how happy you clients are after their stays.The Iron and ironing-bord not present normally pleased on the passages for every quest to access it,think about that too.

From the road the hotel doesn’t look like much, it’s a neat and clean, modern hotel. Stayed here because of a visa appointment that was in central town. Good location if you need ti do something in and around the area. Really impressed at the hotel, the room and facilities for a 3 star. Will definitely recommend😊

Great hotel, lots of amenities - spa, pool, onsite restaurant and cool bar to hang out in, short 5 min walk to North Beach, 24 hour security and free undercover parking, back up generators which was excellent given the increased load shedding while we were staying in South Africa.

This was an overnight stay...i requested for single beds because i was gonna share the room with my brother but they could not provide. Their system was faulty such that I was checked in to 2 different occupied rooms untill Thabiso went all out physically look for free rooms. They should have house keeping staff 24 7

I am an optimist and usually okay regardless of the conditions of hotels I stay as long as hot water and wifi are good. This hotel was not bad; actually it was great compared to the fee. The room was spacious; the shower room and restroom (they were separated) were good. The breakfast (complimentary for me) was excellent; the front desk was very kind. Although hair driers that I requested did not operate, I was okay. BUT there were cockroaches!!! I caught them (at least two) EVERYDAY!!! While I was working, they appeared on the desk and made me shocked. Sometimes I became paranoid; every dark stuff looked like the bugs. This was my worst experience.

Unfortunately, Durban, with the emphasis on the beach front areas is known for the bugs. However, we have control methods in place and we have to relook this. I assure that this the exception and not the norm. I care about the guests at ONOMO Hotel Durban, and I hate it when OHD do not meet the guest’s expectations. I was embarrassed to have discovered that you encountered problems and I will do everything in my power to ensure it does not happen again. I know this does not help you, but I just wanted to let you know I hope that you will visit us again the next time you are in town. Sincerely,

I do not know what happened with your stay, but from the scores received, you were very unhappy with every aspect of your stay. I care about the guests at ONOMO Hotel Durban, and I hate it when OHD do not meet the guest’s expectations.
