Flott sted å bo nær Sterling.
Flott hotell med ideell lokalisering for å utforske Stirling og andre småbyer i nærheten. Meget bra restaurant med god mat. Hadde rom inkludert 3 retters middag som var meget prisgunstig i forhold til kvaliteten. Hyggelig betjening.

For a Hilton branded hotel, albeit DoubleTree, the management service levels were extremely poor and the communication was below standard. I booked 4 rooms for a stay, and after a late-checkin of 8.30 PM the previous evening, we requested a late check out of 1 hour per room, and a late check-out til 2 PM for the fourth room, after the front desk staff initially agreeing, the duty manager later denied the front staff had agreed this, and demanded the rooms be vacated whilst standing outside the rooms in the corridor. The manner of the communication, whilst standing outside the rooms at 12:00 midday, was not befitting a bed & breakfast let alone a Hilton hotel. A housekeeping staff member who accompanied the manager was particularly rude. An individual phone call to the respective rooms to inform the guests that the check-in time would not be extended would have sufficed. The Dunblane Hilton DoubleTree is the worst Hilton hotel I have ever come across in terms of hospitality and care towards the guests.

Dear Amer,We have taken some time to investigate your comments. Unfortunately we could not accommodate your request for a late check out for four rooms as the hotel was full the day of your departure. If the hotel was not full, of course we would have happily accommodated your request. The reception team did not commit to late check out for each room until checking with the housekeeping team. We are pleased that the reception team were able to arrange a late check out for one of the rooms until 2pm for you which you were happy to take. The reception team did try to call the room with no success this is why the managers sought to speak to you personally. We do however apologise if our colleagues came across negatively in anyway as this was not meant and we trust that both remained professional at all times. Thank you for sharing your experience and we hope that you may visit again so we may ensure that you receive the excellent customer service which we pride ourselves on.Kind regards

Quick check in. Clean comfortble room. We ordered dinner to our room which was quick and food was nice. Breakfast was perfect. Good views from the front of the hotel. The only issue was that the room was hot at night even with the windows open.

We are happy to report that the fire was put out and no one was injured, the local authority took a few days to secure the area where the incident took place. Staff very friendly and professional. Food in cocktail bar very good and breakfast options are excellent. Hotel very grand looking and set in a beautiful position high above Dunblane. The room was comfortable but was looking rather dated with worn sections of carpet, furniture and a very inadequate electric radiator (which we eventually found out was turned on by an unmarked switch at the bathroom door). Would say room was on a par with a Premier Inn which is slightly disappointing for a more "premium" hotel.

Overnight stop
For a one night stop this is perfect. Close to the main route. However the bedrooms are in need of upgrading. That said the bathrooms were decent it’s just the bedrooms were something out of the 1980s.

Not as good as anticipated
The room was relatively small and tired with not enough hanging space in a cheap - looking stand alone wardrobe. A bath with shower curtain isn't really acceptable in this day and age. We were moved to another room and the carpet was better, but no other difference. Only one chair in the room unlike the online photo. The food in the restaurant was good, but we find it very frustrating to pay £32 for the cheapest bottle of wine (especially as it was £30 on the wine list!), upon Googling the retail price in a shop is typically £8. Nice setting and public areas, but the aspects mentioned really let it down in our opinion.

few such (Hydro) hotels still exist, so a fascinating view into a bygone era. Some aspects of modern life intrude, the menu reflects modern trends, as does the use of a very large building for large family events, not quite Edwardian, but very comfortable

Great hotel in beautiful surroundings
Staff really welcoming and events team very professional. Food was beautiful and a variety of choice. Beautiful surroundings and hotel was clean and rooms had everything need. Jim the concierge was fabulous. Made sure you had anything you wanted and always smiling. Zidan and Sam in restaurant and bar where really polite, happy and friendly

The room was ridiculously noisy and the walls arw paper thin. All looked very tired and dated in the room and the pillows are horrible. Nobody answered the phone for room service so thank you to Kate on the text service. Other than her excellent service i was more than a little bit disappointed this time sadly.
