Koselig hotell, litt slitt. Hyggelig betjening , flott frokost. Ligger litt for seg selv , ett stykke til forretninger etc.

Flott beliggenhet.
Hotellet er stort og forholdsvis slitent, men rommene er store og komfortable med gode bad, servicen god og maten veldig bra. Vi spiste middag i Grillrestauranten - nydelig mat til en helt grei pris. Det beste av oppholdet var dog beliggenheten. Flott utsikt, stor park rett inntil, sjarmerende landsby og nydelig strandpromenade i gangavstand.

Ypperlig service, hyggelig betjening og flotte omgivelser. Kort vei til dartstasjonen (lokaltog), hyppige avganger til Dublin. Aircoach stopper ved hotellinngangen.

Fantastisk opplevelse. Hotellet er litt gammelt og har et gammelt preg men det er hva vi elsket med dette hotellet. TOPP SERVICE i ale ledd. Anbefales. Et lite minus for dårlig basseng for barn.

It did not feel like a “castle” more like a facade. Old and outdated accommodations. Breakfast was good. Room 411 is missing part of the curtain blackout lining so the sun came in window very early and woke me up. Staff was nice. Not enough porters for luggage for multiple people. One guy and lots of luggage. Just not a castle feel. I had just stayed at Castle Leslie and that was a true castle!

Staff was very accommodating and knowledgeable about the area. But Hotel is in desperate need of a renovation. Overall decor looks like it’s from the 80s. Rooms were old and didn’t smell clean. Comforter was dirty. Could see mold in the ceiling. Door frame was broken. No Ramps for rolling luggage. Town of Dalkey is picturesque and nice for hiking with beautiful views of the Irish Sea.

I love this hotel, have stayed here every year, for the past 20 yrs. The staff are unbelievable, especially the day porter now, used to be night porter “Alan”, the receptionist Shannon and the new Bartender I just met “David”. I have never had a problem here, the rooms are spotless and spacious, food excellent, but again, the staff make the place extra special.

Wir waren Für 3 Nächte und fanden es mega schön, super schönes und sauberes Hotel. Wunderschön in der Nstur gelegen. Sehr freundliche u. Zuvorkommende Mitarbeiter. Man fühlt sich total willkommen und wohl. Sehr gute und grosse Betten ( Wir hatten ein Familienzimmer) sehr gute Matratzen. Afternoon Tea sehr zu empfehlen.

Friendly guest services! Pool is fun (just make sure to check hours becwsue they have family swim and adult swim) Also, you need a swimcap! Delicious room service from Mapas. The baggage handler Sean was super helpful!

The people that work at this hotel are fantastic! Friendly and wanting to care to your every need. I would definitely stay here again, it made our trip to Ireland much better in many ways. I would also like to thank them for having our room ready when we arrived from an overnight flight and weren’t scheduled to check in until afternoon, it was right on time because we were exhausted.

For the price we paid I would expect a bit higher standard. The place was not refurnished for a long time and you can see it. I get it it is old fashion but this is not what I mean here. Was cold overall and darkish. Will I come back ? No not really.

Homely and professional hotel - kids loved it
Get the negatives out the way first. Very average water pressure (my lifelong bugbear) and a slightly convoluted system for use of the pool. Other than that, fantastic in every way. The drive up to the hotel was made extra special by the great lights (we were there just before Xmas). Staff were helpful, professional and friendly in the perfect balance. Room was clean, well furnished, and spacious. Perhaps slightly dark for some but not sure we actually worked out how to turn all the lights on!!! Restaurant was great value and dishes slightly quirky without being weird. Again, perfectly judged. Overall, absolutely loved it and wish we had more than 1 night.

The staff was very friendly and professional. The dining facilities were very good. The bathroom had some lazy trim renovation/repair but everything was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our time there for sure. Full disclosure, there was a water leak problem our last night that caused us to be woken up and sent to a marshaling area. They got the problem resolved within an hour and we were back in our room asleep shortly after.

The emergency services were contacted, and a precautionary evacuation was advised for fire, health & safety reasons. Room was spacious. Hospitality was top notch. There was an unfortunate event. We had to evacuate due to a water leak and was without electricity/water for part of the night, however, the hotel agreed to refund the night and make things right. Would recommend anyone to stay here. We will definitely be coming back! 10/10

Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel is an excellent hotel for all your travel needs. Both the interiors and exteriors are simply breathtaking giving one the feeling of being a royalty while staying there yet the place offers excellent amenities at par with most modern hotels. Highly recommended.

Shocking! - Electrocuted by bedroom lamp.
This was my second stay. The hotel is overall really nice and restaurant was also good. The bar area and lounge is very comfortable. However... I was electrocuted by the bedside lamp that fell apart when I tried to turn it on. The top just fell off and I touched live pins that were exposed. The TV and fridge did not work. These were fixed after reporting them however I did expect an apology and a free drink would have been an easy making it up to me ;-)
