Friendly staff, nice rooms, location perfect for both shopping and dining/drinking. Walking distance to all you need in Dublin. Not our first stay at the Academy Plaza and not our last:)

Bra hotell men bråkete bakgård
Fint hotell, veldig sentralt, gå avstand til veldig mange ting og bussen fra flyplassen stopper 3 min å gå unna. Bra rengjøring og hyggelig folk i resepsjonen. Vi hadde vindu mot en bråkete bakgård (et utested var i bakgården) så hvis du ikke synes det er greit burde du be om vindu en annen retning. Det var veldig smale dobbelt seng, den vi hadde kan ikke ha vært mer enn 1.40 bred og den var ganske hard.

Man hører hva slags musikk naboene lytter på. Tok ca. 20 minutter på resepsjon ved ankomst. Litt kaotisk ved hovedinngangen når det er flere som sitter der. Det blir mindre hyggelig som et resultat. Bra beliggenhet - største fordel.

Vennetur for konsert
Hotell som ligger veldig sentralt, både til Crooks park, gågate med shoppingsentre, pubgata over broen, Jameson, og mye mer. Rent hotell med nokså nyoppusset rom. God frokost og lunsj i resteuranten. Hyggelig og hjelpsomt personal. Vi var der i forbindelse med konsert, og fikk cowboyhatt, og en pose med drikke og snacks.

Sentralt! Lett å komme til og fra flyplassen. Hyggelig personalet. Rikelig med sitteplasser i frokostsalen, men savnet mere frukt og grønt i bufeen. Enkel romstandard.

1 natt med søvn 1 natt uten søvn.
Sov her i 2 netter. Første natten, veldig bra. Andre natten var det slossing og krangling i rommet ved siden av mellom et par og hotellbetjeningen gjorde minimalt med klagene de fikk inn. Istedenfor å få politiet på stedet ba dem bare paret om å dempe seg litt.

We were not able to get WiFi in our room. We wasted the better part of one day while they investigated the problem. They brought up a new temporary router which worked for a very short(approximately 1 hour) time and then would consistently drop you every few minutes. The manager said he was giving us complimentary dinner that night and breakfast in the morning for all the inconveniences. When we went for dinner we waited over 20 minutes for someone to acknowledge us at our table. We finally asked if someone could come take our order. There were only 3 other tables seated at this time. A waitress came to take our food and drink order. We then waited quite awhile and wondering again if we had been forgotten. We told a lady we would like to have our drinks and she returned with a carafe of water, but not our drinks. Eventually our entrees came out, but not our salads. We had completely finished our entrees before we ever got our salads. When we went for breakfast in the morning the message was not relayed to the staff at the breakfast buffet that we were offered complimentary breakfast.

Location is perfect, just off O'Connell Street. The staff were friendly, informative and accommodating. Purchased the breakfast, well worth the price. We will stay are next visit.

No parking. Was told we had to park down the road at a third party parking lot and was told if we bring the ticket back we will get a discount. Did that and the staff said no discount because you need to stay at QParking for the discount. Also on Expedia states a Laundry but there wasn’t. Bed was hard and room was so small.

Dingy room, disfunctional shower and dirty bathroom. It’s in a dreadful area, parked across the street was a soup kitchen and about 50 down and outs queuing for food and locals screaming at them. The carpark is a distance away from the hotel and I wouldn’t want anyone I cared about walking to the hotel from there, day or night. I will NEVER go back and couldn’t wait to leave.

Hyvä hotelli lähellä palveluita. Kävelymatka kaikkiin keskeisiin Dublinin keskusta-alueen kohteisiin, bussit ja muut julkiset kulkevat ihan vierestä. Ystävällinen palvelu. Ei upouusi hotelli, joten vähän ajan patinaa pinnoissa, mutta siistiä ja siivous päivittäin. Hiljainen ja rauhallinen, ei juurikaan kuulunut ääniä huoneeseen. Hinta-laatusuhde oli todella hyvä, voisin mennä uudestaan.

Everything was great but the room was extremely small. However, this is the second stay here and it has a lot of positive attributes especially a central location for touring Dublin.

Tinha barulho de uma boate que funciona ao lado do hotel, mesmo com as janelas fechada dava para ouvir até por volt de 2h. Não tinha shampoo, condicionador e creme no banheiro. Pelo valor da diária deveriam colocar essas amenidades.
