This is a lovely hotel. The room I had was perfect size for one person. It was equipped with a twin bed, TV, 2 closet spaces and a sink. The bathrooms are shared but there was 2 just down the hall from my room. My favorite part was the breakfast. It is included with the price of the room. And it’s not a skimpy breakfast, they give you a-lot of food and it’s all delicious. The only issue I had was with the Wifi, it wouldn’t stay connected in my room. Otherwise, it was great. Definitely recommend this place.

Had a lovely time staying at the Atlantic Guest House! It is the most adorable and charming lodge, Lorainne greeted me when I checked in and was an excellent host. She provided all the information I needed for my stay. My room was very clean and comfortable and private! The breakfast was perfect with a variety of options. The lodge is very close to restaurants, bars and shops, all around a very convenient place to stay when visiting Donegal Town.

Nothing special but satisfactory plus in every way. We enjoyed our stay. Parking could be a problem if town busy. We were lucky and found a spot close by.

Family run (really nice people) B and B. No elevator. Big breakfast, fresh cooked. Very comfortable beds. Small room but more than adequate for us.

Great quiet option near center of Donegal
Very nice smaller hotel, very well kept, and in a great location - not "in" the center, but within a 3min walk hence a bit away from the "activity" - very quiet. Loved the welcome as well as the breakfast food and service. Everything was great!

No frills guesthouse in Donegal county
This guesthouse is in a quiet village on route in Donegal county. The owners are very nice and the Irish breakfast is probably one of the best we had in our tour. Our room was spacious but the building is very old and it could be cleaner. Overall a good place for an easygoing overnight stay.

No hot water in the shower was like ice cubes then it would scald you. Had to take a sponge bath and wash my hair in the sink. No hairdryer. 4-5 flights of steps and no one to take your bags up. Says free parking but they have two spots for the entire hotel. You’re not allowed to have food or drink inside the hotel!!! The breakfast was good but the coffee was instant. WiFi was unsecure and sucked.

Great location, nice room and friendly hosts. If there had been a hairdryer in the room it would have been perfect. I was surprised to find that there wasn't one. Had I stayed for more than one night this would have been an issue for me.

Was not prepared for smallness of room or shared bathrooms. Got those things settled out. Lorraine is a terrific hostess. Great hospitality and liesure area. Wonderful breakfasts. Donegal is a great little town. Easy tours by foot. Donegal castle is cool. Reel in is a great pub but get there early really really small.

This property was well located and the room was well decorated, and large bathroom. The price being affordable we didn't expect too much. However we did not enjoy our stay there as room 14 was down in the basement, cold and humid. And when we entered our room there were over 10 mosquitoes we had to kill. We closed the windows and went to dinner only to come back to a similar number. We suspect that they would come in through an open pipe in the corner of the bathroom. We also found two very big spiders. We are not a couple afraid of bugs but even for us this was not nice at all. For this reason, i recommend the property to do something about that situation.

Rooms not ensuite
I was shocked to discover the rooms were not ensuite. Having to leave your room and go down the hallway in the middle of the night to use the bathroom is not acceptable. Sharing the bathroom with other guests is not an experience you would want to repeat. Room was very small with only 1 plug visible. Had to unplug telly to charge mobile phone. Wont be back

Carmel we do have rooms with ensuite but thats what you booked ( Twin Room, Shared Bathroom) the rooms ensuite cost more , it is plan to see what you are booking on all sites

The property was clean and our room was comfortable. The host was very nice. Parking is 1/4 of a block away and was free between 6PM and 8 AM. It is 0.30 euros/hour after that. Breakfast was great and really fills you up for the day! The hotel is right on the street near dining and shopping options. Would stay here again!
