Vi bodde to netter på dette hotellet og vi hadde fantastisk utsikt over Colombo fra rommet vårt. Treningsrommet hadde alt vi trengte og bassengområdet var kjempefint og hadde også flott utsikt. Kjempegod frokost og veldig bra bar/restaurant på toppen av hotellet.

Moldy smell in room
There was a very bad mould smell in the room. I got a headache from being in the room. We called house keeping, and were informed that all rooms were like this and that it would get better after a while with AC on. It was still bad the next day, and next evening night, but somewhat better.

Smells like moldy basement
Very strong smell of mold in my room. Smelled like a mouldy basement. All clothes hanging or lying in room stinks of mold, and the smell is not going away with wash. Had to throw away some items. Staff tried fixing issue by vacuuming aircondition, but that did not help.

Et veldig bra hotell med en fantastisk frokost. Flott at alle rommene er i høyden, man har både utsikt og hører ingen ting til trafikk og bylarm på bakken.

Bodde her i 2 netter når vi kom til Colombo. hotellet var fint og reint. frokostbufeen var god. middagsbufeen var grei, men det tok for lang tid å vente på varmmat. Personalet på hotellet var imøtekommende og serviceinnstilt. Det var for liten plass ved svømmebassenget.

Very clean and comfortable rooms with good wifi. Relaxing rooftop pool. Service was slow. Good location of hotel and you could walk to shopping, restaurants and sights. We would reccomend this hotel.

Dette hotellet har bra beliggenhet og fremstår som et nytt og rent hotell. Utsikten fra taket er flott! Pluss for at de også har basseng. Vi hadde et veldig fint opphold på dette hotellet og det anbefales på det varmeste.

Det var helt fint men fikk vasket noen klær som koset meg 300kr ( 11 ) litt dyrt når du kan få det tul 50kr eller var prisen litt høy som det bruker og være på 5 star mat helt ok

Cosy hotel in Colombo
We stayed at Cinnamom Red for a night during our stay in Colombo. The hotel is well located in walking distance to many popular attractions. The rooms were cosy and of good standard. The breakfast was also good with a good selection of Western and local food, fruit and good coffee. Definitely one of the better hotels in Colombo.

Rommet var lite, men fungerte greit og utsikten var fantastisk. Men det var mye rot ved ankomst. Vi hadde bestilt rom for tre personer via hotels.com, men denne informasjonen var ikke videresendt til hotellet. Viste bekreftelse på bukkingen tre ganger før det ble redd opp ekstraseng. Måtte også betale ekstra for frokost pga. rotet til hotels.com. Hotellet passer best for kortere opphold, da bassenget kun har tre solsenger og det er ett stort hotell med mange gjester. Vi hadde planlagt å bo der i ni dager, men flyttet etter tre dager.

We stayed here for the last 6 days of our 5 weeks in Sri Lanka. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the rooftop infinity pool. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. We liked to go to the rooftop bar and have coffee and tea in the morning, which we either made in our room or picked up from the 7th floor. The bar opened in the afternoon and if we were in the hotel we often had a soda water with lime after swimming. We will recommend this hotel to our anyone travelling to Colombo

Most of the staff at the reception and other areas were trainees. My check-in process took around 15 minutes. Had a similar experience to just order a couple of items where I used the food and beverage discount. Both the room cards got deactivated within a day and had to wait in line again to get them activated
