«We loved staying at CASA Di Palaia, our room was amazing. We loved the steam bath, it was a good surprise as we didn’t know it was there. My fiancé used it each day as he loves steam rooms. Especially came in handy when it rained. The breakfast they put out, Such a great selection of some meat, cheese, breads and pastries. Some yogurt, granola and fruits to choose from. Took a drive out to Greve, wow beautiful little spot. Brought back a meat tray lunch back to B&B, to enjoy on our private ...

«This is truly a boutique style hotel. We got very lucky to have booked this. Location was in central Siena which was a huge bonus. The rooms were stunning with hundreds of year old frescoes on the ceiling. The interior was furnished beautifully, the mattress was extremely comfortable and cleanliness was obvious. «The host is excellent, the property is wonderful, spacious parking for six vehicles inside an anient iron and brick fence, ancient house with gorgeous and spacious interior, high ceilings, balcony with a spectacular view of the Tuscany countryside, and a fourteen minute drive from paid parking in the historic city center of Siena. «We stayed for 5 nights in 4 rooms on the top floor of the Palazzo and had a wonderful time. Marzia and Bianca are the best hosts! They were so helpful in planning our trip, giving us great recommendations, making dinner reservations (some pre planned and some at the last minute), and helping us with our travel within Italy. They were a great resource, so friendly, kind and knowledgeable. The historic Palazzo is in a great location, was comfortable and well maintained, and was cleaned every day. ...

«We really loved our stay here. Check-in was very easy, communication and passports done virtual, location was easy to find, the host provided private parking outside the town walls, the one shower for 3 couples was a little tough and the beds were a bit hard, but the location and common space were wonderful. We stayed up late playing cards in the common area.»

«Hotellet lå rolig til og det var enkelt å ta buss til Firenze. God service på hotellet og de stilte velvillig opp for å hjelpe. Vi fikk en leilighet med egen terrasse, noe vi satt stor pris på, og det var godt å komme bort fra travle Firenze på ettermiddagen. Selve Impruneta er kjedelig. Kan anbefale to av restaurantene i gangavstand. Den som ligger nærmest hotellet, spør en av de hyggelige damene på hotellet, var overraskende bra. Den andre lå litt mer bortgjemt og het noe a la Osteria Ziro. ...

Excellent stay
"This little gem is almost perfect. It is quite a beautiful little hotel 6 minutes from San Gimignano. The rooms are cool, dark and very well isolated. We had a room facing the dinner area, and we did'nt hear a sound of the guest. Only when they dragged their chair did we hear a small noise. The surrounding area is really nice. They also offer shuttle service to San Gimignano so you can leave your car for the day. The breakfast was ok, lots of cakes. Plus for having dairy options for lactose intolerant people. General service of the hotel was really good, but when my wife found cork in her wine which was served at dinner, one of the waiters got annoyed when she told them and asked for a new glass. She did receive it of course, but the reaction to it was not so pleasant. We recommend this hotel for a stay if you want to visit San Gimignano. The only thing missing here would be a gym room. There's not to many option of running or working out in the surrounding area."
