4 star hotel? I don't agree Rooms are dated. Window sheers were torn. Individual toiletries were low quality. Towels were thin and rough. Flat sheet used as fitted sheets wouldn't stay on the king mattress. Room came with 4 standard pillows that were lumpy and flat (2 inches thick). It took 3 stacked up to make a "full size" pillow. Entry door to the room is very solid (very quiet) and heavy (hard to keep open when entering/exiting, especially with luggage). Elevators were quick and efficient. Ice machines are on the 4th, 7th and 10th floors. Doormen were great and they held are luggage on arrival and departure day so we could spend more time enjoying the city. A 3 min walk to the Delaware & Michigan bus stop was convenient for getting around the city. Our stay was 4 nights.

The upside to this property is: it’s located in a very busy area and can walk to shopping and restaurants.. But, The rugs in the rooms and common area are very dirty and have a muggy smell to it. Bathroom was not cleaned even the glass had to be recleaned and dirt in the corner areas.. Asked the staff to use a microwave to heat up baby food the declined saying there was none in the whole 14 story building. After asking a few times they finally provided a kettle.. Rooms are super tiny.. will not be returning .. poor rating

The hotel room was clean and well maintained. The two main issues for me were no grab bar in the shower which, I think, is a major issue, and the temperature control in the room. The thermostat could only be lowered to 65 degrees which kept the room at a constant 69 degrees. This was too warm for me to sleep comfortably.

our stay at the millennium knickerbocker hotel was nothing short of lovely. aside from being very clean, the staff was extremely friendly, including bar staff. late night drinks were delicious, and bartender kevin was very nice and funny. aside from the historical aspects the building itself was gorgeous, and navigating to get to our room was easy. overall i would definitley recommend this hotel, and when i visit chicago again, i will certainly stay at the millennium knickerbocker hotel again.

Old building. In need of some touch ups. Bed sucked. Like the worst. The building is kept up as decently as possible but definitely room for updates. Staff was great. Be prepared for parking costs. Very close to high end shopping, the beach and the chicago360.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at your hotel. Initially, the staff was very accommodating, although we did encounter some issues with our refrigerator, which had to be replaced twice. our bathroom seemed to have been unused for a while, as it required thorough cleaning. We also experienced a brief moment where the water came out yellow, and there was some residue on the base of the toilet that needed cleaning. However, overall, our stay was pleasant. One aspect that bothered me was the demeanor of the front desk host who was working on Monday, March 18th. She seemed standoffish and was not very knowledgeable about the Chicago Hop on Hop off bus tour. Her lack of assistance and incorrect directions regarding the closest station were disappointing. On the contrary, the doorman was extremely helpful and friendly. Furthermore, I suggest that the hotel consider installing a central microwave. As my husband and I are food enthusiasts, we found it inconvenient not to have a place to heat up our leftovers, which could be a dealbreaker for some guests. Despite these minor issues, I would still recommend your hotel to friends and family due to its excellent location. Just any fyi parking is expensive. Any SUV will cost $55. Regular cars $45. They allow you to go in and out as many time which is a good deal compared to other parking locations in the area.

Rooms are not big but the point of being in downtown Chicago is to be out on the town. Staff is very friendly! Bar had great drinks and food.
