The room is clean, and the housekeeping is cordial. The front deck was acted professionally and help out with check in when we got to the hotel early in the morning. We had wonderful staying at the Marriott Chicago Schaumburg.

where do I start? lets go with check in. when I arrived to the property i wasn't greeted properly at all. I said hello I' here to check in and the front desk didn't greet me or even say hello. She said what' your last name can i see your id and debit card. she then asked if i needed a single or double beds i said i have the kids with me i need two beds. Shen then asked me did i have a preference on the floor i implied it didn't matter as long as i have two beds. she then told me to put my debit card in machine for incidentals. I then received a notification from my bank stating i was changed 458.72 so that's when i was confused. I then asked why am i being change so much when I paid for the room already. After doing research they noticed the made a mistake and refunded my funds(its going to take 5-7 business days). I then proceeded to the room just to take one foot in the door to notice it was a room with only one bed. Now I' getting really frustrated because i told her multiple times i needed two beds. I proceed to go downstairs to left her know she gave me one bed room. She didn't apologize she didn't say anything but asked the key fixed it and gave the key back without apologizing again. All of this before even starting the stay is outrageous. Next we get settled into our room and later head down to the pool area. we over hear other families complaining about the staff and security being rude but we were so fed up we didn't even want to engage. This is my go to hotel always! The service is impeccable. I feel so relaxed, the pool and gym are great. Although the breakfast can be improved, the staff and food is good!

Room 604 had a constant humming noise from, I guess the hvac in room 606. It made sleeping a terrible experience. The room smelt like cheap perfume that made me wonder what they were trying to cover up.

The hotel was clean and modern. The shower/tub was pretty dated but clean. We stayed on a Thursday night and the guests sharing walls/ceiling with our room were very noisy. Almost absurdly loud and it was 11:30pm. The area around the hotel was quiet.

I Will Return To This Hotel
Great hotel, excellent condition, wonderful breakfast buffet. Overall clean but only negative was some debris was left under the couch in our room that wasn't cleaned up before we occupied the room. Friendly staff and a courtesy shuttle for nearby restaurants, etc.

Overall, our stay was great except that in their parking lot the secondary catalytic converter of my car got stolen. It ruined our trip because we have to get the car inspected, do a police report, communicate with the manager of the hotel….the stolen part is going to cost US$1,600 dollars by the way. The management that was there was really nice, she said she would report it and check the cámaras I’m the parking lot. BUT, no one has reach to us regarding this, even tho I was informed that someone from the hotel was going to call us. No one has. So, I was waiting before I wrote the review to see if they call, text, email… at least informing us that they are not responsible or they are responsible, but nothing. I would not recommend going there, too many hotels and this ruin our trip and cost us time and money.

We had a wonderful stay for our Anniversary. The room had some rust by the tub and ceiling that looked to have some water damage but other than that it was wonderful. The bartender Adolfo was amazing
