I absolutely recommend InterContinental Chicago for your stay. The rooms are clean, the staff is fantastic, the pool is great, and the location can't be beat!

Jorge,We are sorry to know you did not find our Hotel as modern as other properties. Our original Tower is historic and was built in 1929, we also renovated our Grand Tower last year and do plan additional enhancements to the property, in the very near future. We appreciate your thoughts and I do hope we have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future!

The pool area is something out of a movie. The staff couldn't be more accommodating. Pricey, but you knew that already!

The staff is excellent. Very helpful and courteous, took care of what few issues we had. The room service is a little expensive, $8 delivery fee. Limited coffee supplies in the room. Little wear&ear on the blinds. Otherwise everything was very nice.

My first night was terrible. I brought my family to the city to have a fun and safe time. The overnight staff were very rude and not friendly. They made my small children and I feel very uncomfortable. I spoke with the daytime supervisor and she assured me that would not happen again, but that was not the customer service I expected to receive at any point of our stay.

The location is great for visiting Downtown Chicago. It's right next to Tribune building, across from Wrigley building. Safe to walk around during the day. Car pickup and drop off is a bit challenging. Property is newly renovated, feels clean and modern in the historical building setting. We'll stay again if doing diner / theater stay-cation in Downtown.

We love staying here every time we are in Chicago and don’t plan to stay anywhere else! The staff are very friendly and kind. Rooms are extremely quiet and clean. Will the doorman/concierge always greeted us with a smile and was very kind in helping us find our way easily …best location too on mag mile !
