This is our second stay and I honestly hated it this time.This property has a number of issues. First off, the room did not look like the one pictured in the website at all. The long pillows were not on the bed or in the room and the "couch" was basically a padded bench. The desk chair was also not nice like the one in the picture for the king room. I wanted to set at the desk and do some reading but it was just not comfortable at all. The tiny pillows in the room were obviously swapped out for the convention we were staying for because they were video game and comic themed and not the classy ones in the picture. Blankets were paper thin. If you want the room at 65, give us so good blankets. Last time we stayed, the blankets were thick and comfy. We picked this place because the Regency's blankets were basically fancy sheets. That brings me to fact the thermostat only engages when it detects motion. This is a big deal seeing as you will leave and the room will be hot as hell when you get back. If you are staying here for a con, the hotel is ether a really long walk outside or or a fairly tricky walk through a steep parking garage to get to the convention center. Not well suited if you want to be in the thick of things or have to make frequent costume changes. Then there was the bug issue. Nothing too big. We just killed a number of gnats in our room and a fairly beefy spider. Mainly, its not what it was 4 years ago.Service was great but poor room quality.

The room had a urine smell to it. It was somewhat nauseating. Location was good to walk to Zanies and Sugar Factory. This is the first hotel I’ve ever stayed at where the gift shop has no aspirin or ibuprofen. We doordashed some, but that was definitely odd to both of us as people who stay in hotels often. We had our parking validated some where else but had to make sure the hotel didn’t charge us since the automatically did when we had checked out. Not worth the money.

The toilet did not flush and when it did it was super weak. It overflowed overnight so we had no bathroom. When you use the bathroom there is a window that lights up the bedroom. The window is not clear but light gets through. It woke my wife up when I went to bathroom at night and it lit up the bedroom. Three stars is generous. I mean no bathroom?

As a hairstylist, I appreciate the quality shampoo, conditioner & body wash available in the shower. I would never consider using most hotel hair products but these were great. Bed and pillows were fantastic also!

The hotel itself is very nice and clean, the area it’s plenty to do and walking distance. There was maybe three things I disliked. The beds are on platforms so they are easily to move you can bump your leg against and it will slide over. There isn’t a complementary breakfast available you have to pay and there is no lot parking you have to park in a garage and pay daily….but overall the cleanliness and area was overwhelming with a lot of things to do!

Had a nice stay at Aloft Chicago O’hare. This would be our second time here. It feels safe. Rooms very clean. Would definitely choose to stay here again

We stayed only one night but would love to stay longer. Staff was awesome! From the front desk to the shuttle to the airport and the staff and food at the bar, everyone was polite and friendly. The room was perfect and the shower was amazing!

The location of this property was perfect. You can easily walk everywhere. We were in town for a comedy show at Zanies. We had dinner at Bub City which is located right next door.

None of the above but very nice staff! -expensive to park by the hotel for time when there is no show at convention center - unacceptable delay in getting hot water. Have to run 2 minutes unti get hot. Every time!!

This has become our go to hotel for stays in Chicago when we have to fly out the next day. It's super close to the airport and the shuttle is easy peasy. My daughter loves the pool area, I like the gym, and we all love the spacious and clean rooms! They also have a long term parking option that you can use if you are flying in and out of Chicago so we did that, and it was indeed, easier than using the long term parking at the actual airport.
