Veldig bra
Har vel knapt bodd på et så fint hotell tidligere og i norsk målestokk ekstremt billig , ca 550 natta. Skulle en være av typen som ikke liker mye oppmerksomhet og service fra personalet , så blir det kanskje litt vel mye "masing og pleasing" fra personalet . Men bevares vel de mener det bare godt !

My room was filled with fruit flies and even though I complained about it, the hotel didn’t do anything about it. The room door was also problematic. I had a lot of trouble just unlocking and locking the door. The lock switch and the lock weren’t attached properly and was problematic.

From check in to check out Hyatt Regency, Chennai made it an easy process. The room was clean and nice. The room service was good, and the laundry facilities were available around the clock. The staff was friendly, and greeted us with warmth every time. The dining options were good.

I loved the aesthetics of the hotel, i loved the exhibitions they host, loved my room facing the pool. I appreciated and enjoyed everything abt the hotel. What i didnt like was the South Indian breakfast options. U need to hire a really good South Indian chef. The idly's were sticky, poori masala was bland and there was no variety in the dessert. I was there for 2 weeks and every day was a different version of the same desert. I have stayed at Rain Tree, amazing selection of South Indian breakfast options and more than one dessert to choose from, unlike Hyatt everyday offering a different version of the same dessert and no cashews in the dessert.

For the money that was paid, expect an exceptional customer service. It was a noisy train station w chaos . Pls do not go if the expectation is to unwind after a long day of work and meetings .

I had an absolutely amazing experience at Hyatt Chennai this past weekend. Having stayed at multiple Hyatt Regency hotels in US, I must say this one stands out in the top echelon of Hyatt hotels worldwide. Starting from checking in where ever smiling receptionist Mi@@ was amazing ,followed by the dining where each of the wide variety of food was delectable thanks to sou Chef V et al, and the equally laudable hospitality of folks in the restaurant area like Bh@@@@@, Kar@@@@, An@@@ ; and not to forget about the spectacular concierge service spearheaded by Kumar and co, along with the seamless checking out process by Ri@@@. All in all ,this was a memorable experience loved by my family and my parents-- 5 stars to the amazing team of Chennai Hyatt Regency, will certainly look forward to another delightful experience in future.

Did NOT like the following: 1. illogical placement of light switches in the room. 2. there were not many vegetarian options and options for small portion eaters in hotel restaurant 3. the bathroom door design was illogical - either covered the shower or the toilet. they could not be used in parallel 4. Found a cockroach in the bath tub the very first day did like the following: 1. the room was cleaned everyday 2. management remembered my birthday :) 3. The staff was friendly and courteous 4. we felt safe during our stay

Had a great stay I was totally satisfied with all the things but could not get a proper dinner in the evening when I asked for room service I was told only few things gs are available and I had to select in what ever was available.. and this is at around 8:30pm so wanted to see if they can improve anything on this apart from that it's a best place to stay

Avoid this hotel. Paying nearly 11k Rs for a night stay here is a waste of money. The room itself was very dirty. Hairs in the floor, sofa had a big stain not sure it is water or anything else. (Disgusting to even keep things there). How can someone not notice it and how did it pass quality control. Bathroom had a foul smell because it was not cleaned properly. Also the trays or boxes had visible water marks plus lots of dust indicating it was never wiped. Same goes with coffee maker and tumblers provided. Clearly you can see it was never cleaned recently. I didn't even touch it. Staff service was average. Liked Spice haat and the Chinese restaurant. Food was good. The reception people are very rude and don't even want to accommodate. The lady who was attending to us on 10 Oct 2023 night (11 Oct early morning) checkin was very inflexible. Even though I arrived only on a day later than the booking date due to flight schedule they couldn't even show courtesy to accommodate a delayed checkout for 2 hrs. Receptionist was quite rude with any kind of requests. I would not rate this even as a 3 star hotel. I am very dissatisfied and questioning the service provided by Hyatt brand in India. I did speak to the manager and aired my concerns. He was patient but my thought was why do I need to hear apologies and understanding when the service provided was not even 3 star. I strongly not recommend this hotel.
