Great stay for family vacation!
We stayed for 24 nights during our family vacation and enjoyed every day of it. Super friendly and polite staff who made us feel very welcome. Cleaning personell, security guards and reception staff all greeting us with smiles. The hotel has a great training facility, a good sized swimming pool and comfortable rooms. Opting for the larger rooms is perfect for family holidays. Felt safe due to good security arrangements. The security personell even escorted food delivery personnel when they delivered food to our door, always with a smile. During our stay our son fell ill and the restaurant manager provided excellent service by arranging for us to have breakfast served at our room which was a great relief for us. On my birthday and our wedding anniversary the hotel gave us complimentary cakes, a great gesture. Truly a home from home!

Large rooms with kitchen. Quick checkin and checkout. Friendly staff. Excellent buffet for Breakfast. Budget friendly. Metro work is going on in the street. Hence the traffic congestion is normal in the area. Overall excellent place to stay.

Klassisches modernes Stadt/Businesshotel mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und diversen Restaurants in der unmittelbaren Umgebung. Das Hotel verfügt selbst über zwei gute Restaurants und bietet ein umfassendes Frühstücksbuffet. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Insbesondere der Zimmerservice auf unserer Etage, Rafujula war sehr nett und aufmerksam.

Save your money and book elsewhere
Not going back ever. Service was extremely poor and the rooms while being decently sized is shaped in such a way that an extra bed clogs the entire room making movement a real issue. Breakfast was among the worst I have seen. Nothing was being brought out so whenever anything came, it went in 2 secs..

Very nice and spacious reception and car arrival places. Only thing for those coming with drivers have the lack of facilities like common restrooms.

I stayed only for 3 days and for that, it was fine. I was not happy about the room's interior and bathroom. It's quite old and for i.e., the mirror was not cleaned up - overall it's not a "western" 4-star Hotel. I did not ask for another room, due to I only stayed 2 nights. But the pool was very nice - not so much crowded.

My room was pretty clean and came with a big terrasse. The bed was comfy, the room was well equipped. I liked the breakfast and also in general, can recommend the restaurant. Staff was very friendly. The hotel bar is a bit hidden, but very nice with a DJ and some specials every day. Anyway, I paid 799 Rupies for a small beer which was the only available option, way too expensive. The next day, Indian guests got served huge bottles of a different beer, not sure why this wasn't available for me the day before. The shower heads in the rooms were pretty dirty and should be exchanged. But all in all, I was very satisfied. The environment is noisy, a lot of traffic, you can smell the waste disposal some kilometers away. But it's India, you have to count with that. Public transport is nearby and it's not far to the beach by Uber. I also liked the pool and the gym, both nice and clean. Thank you for a nice stay in Chennai.

Pre-paid for 6 nights. Had to check out in two days due to personal reasons for the sake of my 6 month old daughter. Requested refund with hotel. Request was rejected and the Resevations department was rude with the response. Clean and neat stay but wont recommend due to poor customer service.

Fantastic location, 1 Bed apartment I stayed has all the convenient features includes kitchenette, washing machine. Excellent room service and delivery service by delivery guys. Awful house keeping and such a sloppy and lazy service as they don’t clean when you request. Food quality is also bad during the breakfast as they concentrate on quantity instead of quality. WiFi speed can be improved a lot. Travel concierge is missing in this hotel which is a pain.

Nice place to stay
It was a comfortable and pleasant stay at Citadines. I happen to spend 5 days at the hotel with my family. The hotel is clean and staff at the front desk and housekeeping are all very nice. The morning breakfast was good and had plenty of options. I would recommend Citadines and i will stay here the next time I visit Chennai.

Excellent stay, housekeeping needs improvement
Nice stay indeed at very affordable pricing. In fact, every time I visited Chennai I was so dissatisfied with IBIS Hotel (both at OMR and Sipcot) that I was badly looking for an alternative - and Citadine is great. Very friendly and helpful staff at front desk, housekeeping and restaurant Room cleaning, Housekeeping, and Replenishment need a lot of improvement. When checked in, the working desk had full of tea/coffee marks. Dishes for the In-room dining served from the restaurant were not removed even in 2 days. Replenishment of toiletries was horrible and I was told by the housekeeping person that they are out of stock for toiletries. Only to get more than one may need after I put up a complaint. During cleaning, used coffee mugs and glasses were removed but never kept back. So had to call the Housekeeping again for the mug/glass.
