The pool was freezing, you had to slam the door to our room to shut it, the water in the room didn't get hot, the shower curtain was so short it barely went past the tub- so while my daughter waited for thebwater to get hot, it started coming outside the curatin and pooling around the toliet. The room smelled like ramin noodles cooking whan we entered. The lobby smelled like theybwere trying to hide the smell of pot.

Our pool is not heated, and during this time of year when it first re-opens the water can be cold. I understand the frustration and inconvenience regarding this, and deeply apologize. For your room issues related to the door, hot water, and shower curtain, I have addressed these issues with maintenance so that they can be rectified in a timely manner. We encourage all guests to inform us of issues as they arise so that we may better accommodate everyone. I will also be addressing the smell with housekeeping, as no room should be listed as ready in the state you described. Again, I apologize for these issues and we will handle all of them accordingly. We hope that you'll return in the future so that we may provide an even better experience!

Very nice place to stay. It’s away from noise and traffic, it’s quiet. Not much traffic because of the location. Staff was very nice and helpful. Facilities are great. Room was very nice and clean. No complaints at all. I did not try the breakfast. But a lot of people were in there enjoying it. I’ll definitely stay again when I’m in Charlotte

Room was decent and the bed was pretty soft. The breakfast was basic, I tried the eggs and sausages. It was difficult to tell the desk staff from hotel guests, everyone was wearing street clothes that you would expect teenagers to dress in. Morning staff were either getting food from the breakfast area or outside smoking. The kitchen staff were nice they were in uniform and helped kids with the waffle machine. Overall it was just okay gor a single night. I would not recommend a long stay.

My room was above the pool and the frogs on the woods made noise all night. Also, the lights were on motion sensors and shut off while I was watching a movie. I couldn’t get them to stay on.

In each room, we include lamps with a hard switch to prevent this issue. Additionally, we are replacing the motion sensors with hard switches moving forward as they begin to experience mechanical failures. Very nice place to stay when traveling through town. Was on the area for a concert and wanted to have a nice place to stay but not break the bank. This establishment was perfect as it was a block from the Blue Line pick up for an easy 15 min commute downtown.

Staff was wonderful! The location is good, convenient and the property is clean. The interior furnishings of the property are dated. Mattress was good; not too firm. Had a good nights sleep. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. The interior is the only reason for the 4 stars rather than 5. I feel the lower room rate is reflective of the interior aspects of the property. I would gladly stay here again provided it was a short stay.

My room key had issues. Had to replace the room key twice. Everytime i left the room the key would stop working and i would have to get it reprogramed.

All in all, I really did not have any complaints about my stay here. I think it's more of note when there IS a problem, so let me then say that the staff was great about everything and made the stay seamless and painless. Also, the rooms are generously large and the food is quite good. I would happily stay again.

No room service in 3 days. Had to go to the lobby for clean bath towels. Had hair from previous guest in tub/shower. People smoking just outside hotel entrance. Pair of used underwear in hallway outside of our room. We have stayed here several times. Hotel has really went downhill since.

We appreciate you writing a review for our hotel, but regret that we failed to meet your expectations. I'm sorry for the issues you experienced regarding housekeeping services, our cleanliness, and the behavior of other guests. I reviewed your information and couldn't find where any of these issues were brought to our attention so that we could have the opportunity to correct them. Regarding our housekeeping services, they are provided on request as displayed on the sign during check-in. Guests may ask for service everyday, somedays, or not at all. This was created in an effort to promote guest's freedom and enhance privacy efforts for those that don't wish to be pestered. Smoking across from the loading bay is our dedicated smoking area, however if any guests are bothered by this we encourage them to reach out to the front desk agent on duty, and we will gladly ask guests to go further from the hotel to correct this. Again, I apologize for the issues you experienced, and I will work with the General Manager and Housekeeping Supervisor to deduce different ways which we can better accomodate our guests going forward. We appreciate all feedback, and will use it to improve the experience. We love our return guests, and we're happy to hear that you have stayed often. We hope that we haven't lost your future business, and that you'll give us an opportunity to make things right going forward.

I can see that you arrived around 12:15am, and during those times we have one staff member on duty. Great place for a great value. Breakfast was varied and tasty, our daughters loved it. Room is clean, but the keycard kept giving me issues. My only complaint is that the pool was closed, even though it is advertised, and it's an indoor pool.

We apologize for the issue regarding the pool and your keycards. The pool is listed as indoor seasonal across all websites. Sometimes this can be located in some easy to miss places, and we apologize for the miscommunication. As for the keycards, we had quite a few complaints regarding these and have ordered replacement keycards that should address these issues. From time to time we get a bad batch, and I believe the last one was. Again, thank you for your review and your feedback. We hope that you'll stay with us again in the future so that we may provide an even better experience!
