«This was a lovely, beautifully furnished farmhouse with a warm, welcoming Aga in the kitchen. My son, his wife and 2 children plus my daughter, her husband and two children all stayed in the farmhouse and my husband and I stayed in the Stables, which is just down the Lane from the farmhouse. We all enjoyed the stay, and I’m sure that in the drier months it would have been lovely to use the garden.»

«Lovely rambling farmhouse dating back to early 1600s but nicely modernized. Perfect spot for Christmas with two families. Big kitchen with aga and large fridge (essential for 14 people over Christmas). Cozy sitting rooms, plenty of bathrooms. The grounds were perfect for a dog walk. «We stayed here for a big family birthday long weekend celebration. The house was immaculately finished and really well equipped. We spent a long time looking for somewhere that had a dining table big enough to seat 16+ people together and this was perfect. There are several living spaces for everyone to spread out as well as outside seating when the weather is nice. Lots of parking and beautiful surrounding countryside. Communication with Bridget was seamless. Highly recommend this property.»

«We really enjoyed our stay at Elbury Farm. Everything was just as described and it was very clean. It has a well equipped kitchen, with everything you need. There was plenty of storage space for our family of four with a lovely garden overlooking open fields. «The property is a beautiful old farmhouse which has been beautifully restored. Accommodation was well laid out and because of the host’s style and attention to detail felt very like ‘home from home’. All felt very relaxed and not ‘too perfect’ that you couldn’t relax and enjoy it. Great space for the children and a fabulous playroom which they all enjoyed using. «Wanted some cheap basic accommodation for 2 nights. Found it eventually after driving through the narrow lanes some of which weren't signposted very well but adds to the fun!. Very neat and cosey and the bed was particularly comfortable. Nicely laid out with some nice touches. Ideal if you want some peace and quiet as it is tucked away at the back of the village in what used to be an old veg garden.»
