Wonderful stay
Great stay at a wonderful hotel. We really enjoyed our stay and the food was amazing. The only let down was noise due to renovation due August, which will be a great addition. We are definitely coming back.

Nice...could be better...
Good...and special hotel, nice staff...eager to gratify....especially Anuchit at the beach, witch did his very best every day to make our stay at this hotel the very very best. The beach is great. The water was nice but sand-sludgy. Always a nice breeze at the beach.. The food and drinks were ok...but very stiff prices. Lower the prises and the guests would eat and drink there more often... And to close the brekfast at 10 am, is a bit early when you are on holliday!!!! The rooms are quite nice and/but special...but the waterfall shower is misplased in the rest of the bathroom and makes the rest of the bathroom floor all wet most of the time. And a lack of closet space is a minus. Good beds. And lets not forget that there is a construktion site as a neighbor, whitch starts at 8 and ends at 6 pm. This should/could have been informed by the hotel or Hotels.com. But it wasn't a big problem while we were there. There isn't much else to do there when it's a bit remote. All in all a nice stay.

Flott hotell nær stranda
Dette er et fredelig hotell i meget rolige omgivelser. Flott beliggenhet og kort avstand til nærmeste by, Cha-Am. Vi leide sykkel for en billig penge og syklet dit flere ganger under vårt 7 dager opphold. Alt var inkludert i døgnprisen, bl.a en meget innholdsrik frokostbufe, solsenger med håndduker på stranda og personale som sørget for masse vann og frukt hver dag! Topp service på ute og inne!

Perfect hotel to rest and relax
We had perfect stay in this hotel. 5 stars for room, hotel facilities and service. A bit distance from Hua Hin and Cha am but it's perfect if you are looking for a quite place to relax and rest in luxury and beautiful design.

Først viste jag ikke om jag likte dette hotellet. Men før var dag som gikk så blev det bare bedre å bedre. Høyt i taket, bra bad, super bra seng sov som en gud. Det var en bit å kjøre når du skulle ti Cha Am beachen. Det var kun en ting som jag tyckte var svært dårlig. Ved inkjekking så prøvde de selge på meg alt møjligt. De prøvde oppgradere meg til en svite. Selge på meg frokost fast jag sa att jag ikke spise frokost. 50% på det ene og det andre men da må jag bestemme meg der å da. det er fint å informere. Men å bli som skreddere i Phuket så blir det over the topp.. Men jag er glad for å overnattet på dette hotellet

Beautiful hotel but design not totally followed through. Some shortcut in the building were made, especially in the bathroom.. This will probably keep it from becoming a classic. As it is now its stands as a good value hotel for parents with children. Good pool, nice garden, far from the beach, not the exclusive retreat for lovers it could have been. To bad and probably why it was cancelled from the Alila group. One point that should be adressed. I went there with my Thai girlfriend and staff insisted on speaking thai when informing the both of us. Even at check-in this happend. The staff need to understand how rude this is to an european. Shuttle service should be to Cha-Am as its a much nicer town than Hua Hin. Make sure that you go to Cha-Am, you will not regret it. Night market in Hua Hin is small, not too good and the beachfront/old town area is filling up with bargirls.

The place to be if you travel With childrens, a lot of activities for them. Good food, beautiful resort but the best point is the personell. Really friendly, smiling and careful, from reception to swimming pool, to kids club till restaurant. Feel like at home , thanks

Some refurbsihment work was underway in August 2023 when we astayed but we knew about this beforehand and it did not impact our stay. We stayed in a poolside room which was excellent. The only area for improvement would be the food which I would say is 3.5 out of 10 and is quiet expensive. However having said that we would visit again as the inflatable in the main pool is amazing and so much fun

Luxury is coming back to Hua Hin...
Our stay was fantastic with all of the functions available unlike other hotels during these times. The service is work in progress but the new manager Nicholas was amazing with very hands on training. By the summer this will be the best property in the area...

Disappointing experience.
As a 5-star hotel, So Sofitel Hua Hin is much below our expectation. 1. In the beginning, we were told that the family room is on the 3rd floor. We agreed the upgrade for this reason. However, we ended up being in the 1st floor near the entrance. 2. Seeing the attached picture, the baby cod was broken when my son was sleeping! I still cannot believe this was happening in a 5-star hotel. My son was not even jumping but just lying down on it. We used to stay in Oakwood where the baby cod was very nice and cozy. We had expected the same level in So Sofitel but we were wrong. 3. The room were were staying was 101. The telephone was not functioning, some of the lights were not working. Once the light was replaced, it cannot even be switched off when we wanted to sleep. We even have to call the room service only to switch off the light for us. 4. For breakfast and dinner, the seats were completely not enough. The level of service was not aligned with the price we were charged. 5. The TV was not even smartTV. The Chromecast was not functioning properly. Even the technician cannot make it work. Overall speaking, this was a very disappointing experinece. Be aware for all family with kids.

Great hotel with plenty of activities for families
The resort was great. The bike path, mini putt, and obstacle course were a family favourite during our stay. Unfortunately, the pool and restaurant closed midway through our stay due to new covid restrictions. As such, we could not use the pool and could only have order in food. Having said that, breakfast buffet was fantastic, the facilities were quite nice. Room was very comfortable and the air conditioning was top notch. We would return once Covid restrictions are lifted.

Comfortable hotel, good food, fun pool
Love the comfort of the high ceiling room. Pool was very relaxing. And the kids pool with the inflatable obstacle course was even fun for adults. Loved the food by the pool. Beware, lots of people of the weekend so have to avoid peak hours in public areas.

The hotel was not clean up to So sofitel standards. The pool area was very nice for the kids and adults. The room again wasn't meeting the sofitel standard for cleanliness. The hotel was understaffed. The FNB was quite good though. The room where we were staying was having construction right opposite and we had to call thrice before action was taken. Overall it's worth going because of the kids but otherwise it didn't suit our liking.
