We came for the truck meet in Maggie Valley, the house was only 20 minutes away, and that is only because we had to go down the mountain to get downtown, but it was worth it for the incredible views. «Six of us stayed in the chalets for two nights. It was a perfect size for our group and we liked the privacy and sleeping options the two units provided. We enjoyed the walk into town - just about a mile to the nearest brewery, though we took Ubers home. Overall a great stay and perfect for our purposes.»

«The Swiss Chalet in Asheville was an excellent home base and incredibly convenient to town, yet feels totally private. Nestled up in a hill the city views from the living and dining room could not be beat! We were welcomed with cookies, a guest book, and a cozy, comfy, well appointed cottage. Our dogs were included in the welcome with a fuzzy bed, treats, bowls, towels and blankies galore (even though we brought our own to protect the furniture)! «This property is a bird sanctuary! It was so peaceful and a perfect getaway. The cabin with hot tub was comfortable. We enjoyed reading on the front porch, cooking out on the grill, fire pit under the stars at night and most of all the sounds of birds chirping during sunrise. The staff was exceptionally friendly. We look forward to our next getaway to Asheville River Cabins! »
