As a solo traveller, looking for some relaxation, this was perfect. The wellness area was great. Maybe a few sunbeds too short when it's too hot to run around in Budapest, but hey, they still have grass on one of the terraces, so it's really not a problem.
The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Especially the bed. Very comfortable. My room was located by one of the side streets, on the first floor, which did mean it was a bit noisy during the night. So if you are a light sleeper, maybe ask for a room a few floors up ;) My room did have a bathtub, which I loved, but it didn't have a plug. The one they provided me was not right for the tub, but I managed to make it work.
The area around the hotel is great. It's close to the ruin bars, which you have to visit!! There are also great restaurants close by, same with bars and pubs. Highly recommend the London coffee society just across the streett if you don't want to pay for breakfast at the hotel.
It's also in the Jewish quartal, so loads of history and culture to explore and learn.
Location wise it's also relatively central. It's about 18-minute walk to the «fashion street», and if you have the Budapest pass, you can always walk five minutes to Blaha Luzja ter or seven minutes to Astoria where you easily can get around to where you want to go.
