Koselig hotell i nærhet til strand og by. Negativt var at det var mye støy fra rør i bygningen. Hørte alle som dusjet fra kl 05.00 om morningen.

Quite OK Hotel
Hotel was quite OK, not exceptional, but at least satisfactory. Breakfast buffet service not table service . Food OK. Room a little "tired" but OK. Quite nice garden in front of hotel. A bit of a hike (15 minutes) from Train/bus station, and slightly less to beach. Have no real specific criticism other than the whole hotel seemed a little bit worn out

Expect things that don't work
The room was clean although run down, something that is to be expected for the cheap price. The room was very warm when we arrived, and the window would not open until it had cooled down a bit in the evening. When we managed to open it, a fan or something outside was quite noisy. The TV did not work, and hotel staff could not fix it. The Internet did not work during our whole stay. Parking cost 3 pounds - ridiculous. Breakfast was good, though!

Okay for the price. But feels dated. The carpets smell a bit musty with age. Key cards to our room didn’t work couple of times. And water from the shower pressure was non existent!

Very run down hotel
Very run down hotel. Rooms don’t get cleaned unless asked. Very old fashioned furniture and dated bathrooms. A few occasions there was trouble in the hotel and think this was due to the council housing tenants in the hotel. It’s a budget hotel out of season but wouldn’t pay anymore in season. The only positive was the lovely lady on reception (Latvian lady) who was always accommodating.

You have to pay for internet in room, I was lucky they upgraded me , but my so called internet room is just a room happen to receive signal from the lobby. The staffs are great and kind, room is old. Carpark is 5 pound per night, walk 10 Mins to town 15 mins to pier and beach. Check in time is crazy 4pm and check out time is 10am , late check out at 11am is 10 pounds extra. Personally I can't stand of it, but didn't know until I got there.

I had a comfy bed, a warm duvet and warm room. The hotel was close to the sea front etc. Staff on reception were friendly.

1. The check-in/ checkout were weirdly odd, 4 pm check in and 10 am checkout. Even at 3:50 pm, check in wasn't allowed. 2. Wifi only in public areas. If in room, pay extra for internet. So its never Free Wifi facility. 3. The heating in rooms was not found and the whole place is carpeted and hence smelly. 4. The hotel wants us to feel the vintage atmosphere. Instead gives us the opposite. Smelly lobbies, cracked walls and wobbly/ noisy stairways.

During breakfast, one of the staff members saw me looking for clean plates, didn't pointed me on the right direction, when i found them he said I CAN'T TAKE THOSE PLATES BECAUSE WERE I WAS SAT THERE ARE PLATES i asked if there are different plates for different guests, and he showed me a rude face and a moking smile and kept his words, taking the plates away from my hands and forcing me to go pick up others... Breakfast should end at 10am and he started to remove the food at 09:55am not allowing anyone to take anything else, now i ask is this called a buffet??? The remaining staff, reception, bar, all absolutely amazing.

Décoration rustique et laissant à désirer. Personnel peu agréable. Proche du centre de Bournemouth qui se fait facilement à pied depuis l’hôtel. Point positif bonne literie. Mais très mal insonorisé dans les couloirs. Ok dans l’ensemble mais pas exceptionnel

Excellent value for money. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was very good. Our only complaint was that the pillows were very hard. I would definitely recommend it and will stay there again.

Needs work.
Very tired hotel, currently have builders in. Very creaky floors around the hotel, just feels unloved. Charged for parking. If booking room with breakfast your charged £20 for breakfast, yet only £10.50 if paying at hotel.

After booking online and travelling to the hotel we were refused the booking at reception as my partner didn't have photo ID on him. Being the lead booker and all my ID relevant just his bank details with name on wasn't enough. Absolutely disgusting handling of the situation being told no you can't stay even though prepaid. No good will gesture or negotiation on the matter leaving us no where to stay in a town we are not from and had to pay double for a room elsewhere.

Place is a joke inside like the 50s. Old peeling paint a shower that litterly dribbles. Made a complaint and heard nothing promising someone will come and never did 3 times I had to ask and still nothing. Facilities are rubbish in every way. the whole hotel floor boards squeak so don't expect to sleep with people walking past your door. Avoid it's that bad
